If you want the best soft serve in the area, Twistee Treat is it. The ice cream tastes like ice cream because it is real ice cream. Dairy Queen is made with 98% artificial ingredients and doesnt taste as good. There are a lot of choices when it comes to options and flavors. They also do have some food options like hot dogs and burgers. If they arent sold out they also have treats for dogs. The cost is in line with Dairy Queen (DQ is a little more), however you do get more here which is a plus. It is an out door place which is a down fall especially during the rain season. The staff is a bunch of young girls every time I go who as someone else posted could use better customer service skills. Half of the time they disappear in the back making people wait several minutes at the window, dont smile much, look bored and dont really give you the vibe they should. I even saw a guy have the window shut in front of him as he walked up. Im sure its not much fun working in a tight place that can get very, very busy at times, but that shouldnt stop anyone from treating others with a smile. After all they are getting paid which is always a plus these days. If it wasnt for that I would have given 5 stars instead of 4. There was one girl who was doing a good job, so its not everyone there. As mentioned they do get very busy during certain times so parking can be tricky and there could be a long line all depending on when you go. They also require a $5.00 minimum if you are using a debit/credit card. They dont have that posted anywhere that I saw, but was told that its a $5.00 minimum for cards.

My family and I have come here for a few years now. Up until yesterday (August 2016) it has been good. The service yesterday was to be desired; I Suppose because I was not under the age of 25 nor was I male did the girls care. I gave them a tip and food was served incorrectly. I just contacted the manager, Ashley and she argued with me and obviously was not going to correct the problem. Never again. We will go a few more blocks to DQ and get the service I expect as a customer. Note: If you are young and certainly a "hot" guy with jail tats they will giggle and serve you instantly and give you all kinds of service. But if you are simply an older lady in work clothes the girls do not care, do not bother go there or send your teens to order your food if you have them. What a disappoint, in yesterday and in the manager Ashley!!

Have been taking my kids here for many years, they love it! Many fun varieties of toppings & combos to choose from, amount of ice cream on cones very generous, price very cheap compared to other ice cream chains. After 10 years of coming here, still very satisfied. They employ teenagers which is a great learning experience for them, some of course will be more mature than others and all teenagers goof off when The Boss is gone. No adult should ever put up with any childs crap, so stop being polite, yell at them to get their attention & speak sharply to them, eventually theyll learn.

Wonderful ice cream, but an absolute customer service train-wreck! Employees, please smile and greet us customers as we approach the window. Ask us how we are doing, and what we would like to order. Please allow us time to put our change in our wallets before you shove ice cream in our faces. Before you rudely slide the window in our faces, please end with a friendly comment such as the one below: "Enjoy your ice cream! Come back to see us!" The staff is an embarrassment to simple respect, and lacks customer service.

This place has the best ice cream around. I have been here recently and it was a pretty nice place. You go up to the window and request and pay for your food. A few minutes later once it is done they call you up and you get your frozen treat. The prices are nice. The employees were nice. But they dont only have ice cream, they have hot dogs, burgers, chicken nuggets, etc.

My family went looking for ice cream and kept finding closed shops or options we couldnt agree upon. I saw this on my phone and we were pleasantly surprised! A huge number of options!! Cute shop and outdoor seating. It has been placed on our list of places to visit again. Finally a banana split I can dig into! I will try the frozen banana next time!

Got a Susie Q sunday. Tasted like cheap off brand reeses topping. Asked for a large blizzard which gets 3 toppings of my choice, so I asked for triple cookie dough and fudge. I received some vanilla ice cream and some nasty dark chocolate chips, not even any cookie dough. Never going here again.. Ill stick with Dairy Queen

I take my kids to twistee treat about once a week...the ice cream is what you would expect of soft serve, pretty good, but the attitudes are hit or miss.. usually bad.. Like you as a customer is an inconvenience to their goofing around. I would go elsewhere but this is close.

Walked up behind a lady ordering ,as soon as the lady was finished ,the girl behind the counter closed the window after she seen me and proceeded to do what she was doing. I left and drove to the Springhill one ,WAY BETTER

Great soft ice cream...and the girls serving couldnt be any more efficient and friendly!!! There even is a "no sugar no fat" for just a few cents more! The serving sizes are very generous!

My kids and mother in law absolutely love this place! Great treats they have just about any combo of ice cream and toppings you can think of and their smoothies are pretty good also.

The ice cream flavors have changed over the years but the chocolate and vanilla are always good. Theres frequently a line but the staff are quick and very nice.

Love this place. Does get busy at night. Good prices not super $$$. They do have food and doggie ice cream to bring you pets. Down side is parking and tables.
