Appalled ! I walked into this store at 10:05pm on a Wednesday and they close at 11:00pm. I went straight to the deli area and was told by 1 employee behind the deli counter that anything that was wrapped (prepared salads) was basically off limits - closed!!! He explained that all that was available was the hot food. I said okay. Then I walked towards the cheeses and deli meats and was told by another gentlemen that the slicing machines were cleaned so that was also off limits . When I asked - Isnt it that the store closes as 11:00 why is this section closed? I got a resounding -well, the market is open until 11:00 but anything in this area is closed. I insisted (all the while the manager was listening but staying quiet) so, if the market is open until 11:00pm and its 10:15 why is the deli/sandwich area/hot food/ prepared salads area closed? Well, jumps a third employee from behind the counter and says : well, the deli isnt closed its that the machines are cleaned but you can buy - to which I responded, well what am I to buy ? The block of cheese?? Since it cannot be sliced-- he responded: Go to Winn Dixie or Publix. Really? Fresh Market which prides itself in exclusivity - imported goods, fresh and organic products with personalized service is comparing themselves to Winn Dixie ? What an insult to Fresh Market and the clientele they want to cater too. Okay. I continued the rushed shopping and checked out as per receipts/photos attached. Before I left however - coincidently, the manager was still hanging around the area (but quietly listening) and so I asked - what are the operating hours of the store to which he replied: the entire market is open until 11:00 - so, why is it that at 10:15 four employees are telling me I cannot get anything from the deli area?? Instead of him taking the initiative to help me he let me wander off irritated - Before leaving I hurried over the area with the olives - well, the serving spoons had also been removed ! Question remains: why claim the market is open until 11pm when it actually closes at 10 for patrons and at 11 for employees ?? As you can see I took the employees recommendation and headed to Winn Dixie where I was greeted with a smile and cheaper prices . Thank you Fresh Market for saving me money and introducing me to Winn Dixie. What a great idea! Photo of receipts couldnt be uploaded.

leaves a lot wanting for a real grocery in the grove. Overpriced imports and dont even have simple things you would expect at a grocery store. An abundance of all hype marketing push health drinks though. DOnt expect fast service at the deli! I am so angry about the last few times Ive been to the deli I was inspired to write this review. They will have like 10 people working back there and just one guy moving slow as molasses waiting on customers. FFS they should pay ME to eat that sand which for wasting my timE! I was actually sick yesterday and hoped to just quickly get a panini from the deli. With only a few numbers ahead of me I waited almost 20 minutes. Bloody ridiculous because the panini was already made they just had to heat it up(which they did not do thoroughly so there goes a sick mans hope for a hot meal) I will say though the lady in front of me was bitching about how much of each entity of the salad the guy was giving her which brings me to my next point, the stuck up pompous fools who make this their grocery store. If I had a car I would be going to Publix, one of Americas best grocers just up 27th. Dont go during lunch hour either or expect to wait an hour to check out for your sandwich. Also, as someone said below, watch out for their pricing scams. Very often you will find discrepencies if you examine your receipts. Advertised prices often dont calculate, and they leave sale signs up long after they are off sale. The manager or idk what he is can be very rude and seems to treat everyone as a shoplifter. ONE GOOD THING : EXCELLENT COFEE, PERHAPS THE BEST COFEE I KNOW OF IN USA, and they have free samples.

I come here everyday before and after work. The store is always in such a goo condition, you never see mess anywhere. I always see the staff busy working. Although, today I didnt have a quite good experience. I am new in town, I moved in Miami like three weeks now. So I am not sure how the food tastes here and you have the opportunity to try such as salads, meats, soups, nuts.. Today the had three different kinds os soups. While I am trying the taste in a small cup, there is this worker staying next to me the whole time and staring at me in a funny way. Once I tried the third soup as well, he made a body gesture(movement) accompanied with a ironic laugh and went behind the (deli) corner. There he started whispering to his coworker on he ear and still staring at me, so then they both looked at me and started laughing. Minutes went by and he kept turning his head every 5 seconds to look at me. I didnt even once moved and just stared him back. He looks around 50s , average body type, short, black. I didnt say nothing to him, I just went straight in the back and spoke to this lady who wears a (white "hat"), I am assuming she was one of the managers. I explained it to her the situation that made super uncomfortable to continue shopping. She listen to my issue, apologized and told me I can go ahead and try the soups. I told her she doesnt have to talk to him in that second, I didnt want him to feel uncomfortable (I know how that feels), later on throughout the day in private. But she did it right away, took him in the back and talked to him. So thank you for taking it in consideration and fixing the issue.

Great store, well maintained. Aside from being a little bit expensive, you can find good sale items here too. I find a better quality of meats here than most places, comparable only to maybe Whole Foods. Fish, chicken, veal are fresh and also available to purchase from the counter in smaller sizes than most stores. They have a good selection of fruits and vegetables and some organic as well. They have some items in bulk bins, like chocolates, candies, nuts, oats and coffee. They offer a daily variety of brewed coffee and also provide free sample cups. There is a lot of prepared food daily. You could find enough for a holiday meal for the whole family and not hear many complaints. The drive to this location along the bay is beautiful.

I wanted to by a couple of waters to get cash back from my credit card for ACs Icees. I ask the first cashier and ask if that purchase is acceptable. Before she can answer the bagman an older gentleman said "no, but there is a bank across the street" (there isnt). Then the cashier says "on a card you have to make a minimum purchase of $50." I said "what?!" She replied "five-zero." I said "wow. Okay, never mind then." We just used the ATM in Montys. Deciding to do a social experiment, I had my fiancée who is of Asian descent, do the same thing. She had no problems. It may have been that those were the only two outwardly racist idiots in the store, but if the store condones that, thats two too many.
