This is your typical over-priced giant eagle, but much worse. They have used unethical business practices through buying the vacant shop n save building purposely to leave it vacant, so there is no competition (everyone agrees on this). This has now gone on for years - the building still left vacant - there is a for sale sign on it, BUT there is an agreement that another shop n save cannot go in there, also from certain connections I have heard the price of the building is "jacked-up" so high to make it undesirable for another competitor to purchase it. Total scumbags, that is why we drive to the oakdale shop n save every week, sooooo much cheaper. Not dealing with communistic, monopolistic giant eagle.

I have been watching the giant eagle in kennedy twp go down hill so fast... Ever sence they bought out the shop n save every thing has gotten worse... The store is very dirty, every shelf has empty unstalked items.. every time i go there i come home wirhout items i went there for because shelvs are empty... and if your lucky there will be 4 or 5 lanes open... i always seem to be 4 or 5 carts deep and spend just as long standing in line as i did shopping... Mgmt is horriable and cashiers are miserable.... this srore now sucks... spend the extra time to drive to Robison.... probally faster in the long run and deffently cleaner...

We did a large shopping. My wife and I are retired due to disability. Its hard for us to walk around the store and my wife uses the motor cart. We went up and down every aisle and were pretty much exhausted. We went to check out and every open aisle had long lines. We were ready to abandon our carts. My husband went to the manager and told her we could not stand much longer. She went and opened a new aisle. While that was very good there should have been more aisles open. We very much appreciate what she did for us. This was at the Kennedy location near Pittsburgh pa.

I was forced to give this store one star!!! How sad is that.... This is the most overcrowded and unorganized store. They have long long lines, with no baggers, and no assistance with managers. If you can find a manager!! The store is small and unclean.. I see flies there all the time!! The same bad cucumbers have been in that bin almost 2 wks... really?! You overcharge and under deliver .. The bad habits and poor management gets worse with each day the doors are open..... You may have got rid of Shop n Save... but, there are still many more options

I have to disagree with the review stating the cashiers are rude. They are all very very kind, and have always treated me great. I even received a Christmas card from the manager last year because I spend so much on gift cards there. I would give them 5*, but like all giant eagles, they are overpriced. I buy most of my groceries at aldi because of this. The selection here is great though, and location is convenient for me. Pharmacy staff is great as well. Just wish they could be more reliable with taking care of refills and contacting doctors when necessary.

It was terrible. Things not stocked is bad enough. But the killer only 3 that right 3 cashiers on Saturday night aand no one at express lane or watching the self check out lines . Left my basket in line at started to walk out. Told a giant eagle working how upset I was. She said I was rude. U just lost acustomer. This was not the first time. Bye

I needed to pick up a veggie tray I ordered and the girl at pick up couldnt find or didnt want to find my order. She accused me of calling the wrong store. She had an attitude problem. The manager found my order and apologized. The attitude girl went out of her way to be rude. The employees at the deli over heard the attitude girl to verify.

The worst produce anywhere. You bring it home only to find out that once you open it up the next day, its moldy, soggy and bad. This happens all the time with berries, grapes, arugula, etc. My husband purchased arugula on 2/22/17. It says good until 2/27/17. Went to make a salad on 2/23/17 and the arugula is soggy and bad.

The Pharmacy staff is always polite and respectful. The store is big with normal GE prices. It can get busy in an instant but it is very convenient because it is on my way from job to job. Great place to stop and grab a money order if you have the need.

Very nice store shop here 2-3 times a week the management in the bakery is a bit questionable but the rest of the store is fantastic getting in and out of the parking lot is a bit scary, and another well though out Pittsburgh street plan

The store is convenient due to it being the only supermarket other than Aldis in the Rocks. However some of the cashiers are not friendly at all especially the one who came from shop n save. She was never friendly there either.

Feels more and more like shopping at Walmart, except at higher prices. Lines are always ridiculously long. Self check outs never seem to work right. Employees are rude and mean. Never see anyone smiling. Hate shopping here.

Everything is over priced. There is no regional competition so they have the ability to price everything higher than if there was comparable shopping options near by.

Just an average supermarket. At busy times the lines for cashiers will be 4 deep, but other times you can walk right up. The store is kept clean.

They never have tons of things im looking for. Dont try to do a WIC check cause they never have enough stuff to fulfill it.
