I brought my older 1989 Kawasaki Ninja I had just purchased the night before to Gables MotorSports. The steering was a bit hard to handle and was not running right on idle. I was frustrated and starting to regret my purchase from a Craigslist seller who assured me he had just done all the maintenance on the bike and it was in perfect condition. As I entered Gables Motorsports I was thinking, here I go again I was ripped off last night and now Im setting myself up in a mechanics shop about to be ripped off again. Well, I couldnt have been more wrong. As I entered the door I was greeted by a very polite man by the name of Oscar Faraminan. Mr. Faraminan immediately got up from his chair, walked around the counter, politely greeted me and asked how he could help me. I explained my problem and he seemed very empathetic. Mr. Faraminan walked out to the bike with me and not only identified all the problems, but also gave me solutions and good advice. We went back inside and he proceeded to type out a list of the maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. He did not try to sell me on anything. Instead he gave me an education on the things I should look out for in order to keep my bike in good working condition and provide me with many years of fun transportation. I was a bit short on cash but needed the front tire change. Mr. Faraminan made a few phone calls and managed to come down on the price in order to facilitate me getting the tire before leaving his shop because it would be too dangerous to ride it in that condition. I had the cash in my hand while waiting for my tire to be changed and unknowingly dropped a $20 bill on the floor behind me. One of the guys that worked there tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I had dropped my money. I had the chance to deal with the service writer, mechanic, the cashier and other employees. They were all very professional, polite and honest. Mr. Faraminna met me at the back bay door when it was time to pick up my bike and gave me a beautiful looking license plate cover with reflectors as a gift. As I drove off I noticed a tremendous difference in the way the bike was now riding, much safer and Im in much more control of the bike. I now felt good about my purchase and even better that I found a place where I can have it serviced without worrying about getting ripped off or having less then excellent service performed on my bike. CONGRATULATIONS! to Gables Motorsports. I was very impressed with their professionalism and service. Their team of experts will be seeing my face around for many years to come. GREAT JOB!

Thanks Chris! So its the third time Ive been sitting in the chair while a new bike is being bought. And given how Im not a very loyal buyer (Im a price shopper, what can I say), it surprises even me. While South Miami is pretty notoriously expensive compared to dealers in other states with lower overhead, if youve bought from them before, they do try to work with you on pricing and youll eventually arrive at something reasonable. Just dont accept the first quote they give you and get quotes elsewhere first. But thats a universal rule anyway. This time I wasnt even really that convinced on buying the bike, but between the reasonable price as well as a Kawasaki rebate, I ended up leaving a deposit. I personally find buying vehicles frustrating and annoying (as a freelance mechanic "prep fees" kill me. I just want to know the Out The Door Price), but Chris Bonhote made things easy enough and made the experience pretty pleasant once the negotiation was over. So thank you, Chris! In other words, if you live in South Miami and your looking for a recreational vehicle, you might as well pass by here first just to get a feel for the situation. You might even walk out with a new Kawasaki in the process.

Not satisfied whatsoever. I went in with the idea i was going to be able to peruse some motorcycles and be greeted by a smiling salesmen with a smile on their face. My entire experience i do not think the sales manager who was assisting me smiled once. I had an idea of what i was looking for, AND I WAS PAYING CASH! No paper work to be filled out at all, if any minimal, I was prepared to spend money. I found a motorcycle that i liked, and i wanted to buy it. For some odd reason they charged me $1000 DOLLARS OVER the marked price on the motorcycle. Some bogus about safety checks done by service department ( i later spoke to the guys in service they said they had never seen the bike before.... coincidence just a sneak peak as to how divided sales and service are here at this outlet. ) So after they "inspected" by bike apparently, and charged me a ton of money for it, 3 days later the motorcycle left me stranded on the highway... talk about safety! I got the motorcycle fixed at the service department where they were polite but dis-organized. I buy motorcycles often, this is so far my worst experience, you can almost guarantee i would not go back nor recommend this location to ANYONE.

Wish I could give negative stars! I Purchased a brand new scooter in May of this year and purchased the extended warranty. Took it back in December as it wouldnt start. Mind you it has 42 miles on it and I keep a maintenance charger on it for the battery. They called me and advised me it needed a new battery and a fuel system flush. . Why would I need a battery after only 7 months? They claimed the battery was not covered under the warranty. As far as the flush, I run only rec fuel so theres not an ethanol issue. This place is a rip off! They spoke to me like I was an idiot and the service manager was rude when I questioned them about the warranty. I had to pay 100.00 to get my bike back. I told them not to touch it. Horrible place and totally a scam! Dont shop here. My next bad review goes to Honda. I dont think they will appreciate this kind of representation of their product.

I was in the market for a Slingshot and tried working with the other dealers north of here. When I told them what my budget was none of them tried. I was told I was out of my mind to think I could get what I was looking for. Then I reached out to Andy Perez service manager at Gables. He has worked on my bike before and I to mentioned what was going on and he walked over to sales and put me in contact with Marllon Pires. Marllon walked the deal thru along with Jesica and James and 2 days later I drove away in my Brand New Slingshot! Andy, Marllon, Jessica and James did everything to make me feel comfortable with my purchase and were all very informative. It felt good dealing with folks who seemed casual and not your typical pushy sales team.I told them what I was in the market for and they worked to make it happen. Gables Motor Sport has a new customer for life in me! Thanks Guys.
