The problematic parking garage The garage meter didnt give us a ticket when we pressed, but the screen said "please proceed" which confused us. So, we drove in and try to find someone who can help us. I found the office and told the staff about the machine and ticket, and they replied that there was no choice but to give for lost ticket for $30! We just got in and havent even found a spot yet, went directly into their office and that was the response that I got. So, when I was there trying to sort this out, which is also near by the entrance, another customer came in with the same problem. And, another car having the same problem at the machine, and cars are lining up. Finally the supervisor checked the machine and found that the paper run out. I asked him could it be a glitch and machine error that the ticket did not come out. He replied, no and urged me to pay for the "lost ticket fee". Lastly, he gave me a ticket which was left at the machine at the time stamp about 2 pm (we came in about 3 pm), and saying that it was great help to save me $30. Thats not the end of it. I asked if they can check the camera footage and see what I said is right or not. Thats the most important part! He said "THE CAMERAS ARE NOT WORKING!!!". THE PARKING GARAGE OF SUCH CROWDED MARKET PLACE IS NOT MONITORED BY CAMERA!!! Either this is a scam by those few people, or it is a big welcoming place for TERRORISTS. Hope someone responsible can oversee this which would help future guests of the city miserable and make the city safe!

Sleazy, greasy, ragged, like a 60 y.o. "mall" that needs to have a health AND building inspector come in and shut it down. Public bathrooms filthy, tiny, no soap, no paper towels, no air or windows. More of a flea market with display windows and doors. Though small, vendors seemed uncooperative to, or did not know how to, direct me to other known vendors within a hundred feet of their doors. Some pretended they did not speak English, so I spoke Spanish, fluently (30 years, taught it in one school) and they then said they didnt know anything...including the old broad riding around on the golf cart riding around the mall and up in the empty parking lot, like she didnt want to be there. Bad, trashy first impression of the city.

Beautiful bay front marketplace, plenty of stores, restaurants and bars in a family friendly atmosphere. Enjoy gelato while watching the yachts make their rounds or a stiff fruity cocktail while people watching! .... 2nd floor has some great air conditioning if you need a rest from the heat. The other side has what seems to look like a dated food court. Entertainment in an open amphitheater area, ... $20 for parking seemed pretty high, but if youre simply coming to walk around and leave, then I can understand the fee. We had dinner at the Italian Restaurant. Great drinks, pasta and pizza. A review for another time.

We came, we shopped, we ate, we left. It was a steamy hot day, so we were thrilled that much of the marketplace was covered up and there was a nice breeze going. We wanted to get some last minute shopping done, so we popped by here for lunch and to people watch and to look for some souvenirs. My favorite purchase on vacation was a stunning ring from one of the Turkish import shops for $30. YAY, Im fahncy! For the ladies looking for lightweight summery clothes, this place had a handful of shops that offered options. They also had souvenir shops that stamped MIAMI onto anything that had space on it for 5 letters.

Bayside is a mall, restaurant and everything area in the Miami Port, it has everything you need to spend a day or night just walking around, excursions, site seeing, plenty of food choices and levels of restaurants, shopping and bars. From here you can take several different boats, sails, party boats, excursions, live music everyday, speed boats and other stuff that makes your visit to Bayside a must if youre in the Downtown Miami area, theres plenty of all kind of level hotels and apartments across and around it for you to stay and leave. Its a must if youre staying in downtown Miami.

Bayfront park is a good place to find a boat tour with many different options. The souvenir stands were lacking in quality and variety with many of the same repeats. You will most likely be asked by every restaurant and shop you walk past to come In and purchase their product. There is large tree in the center of the market has been beautifully preserved and nice look at. Close other accommodations such as hotels and down town. DJs performing at bars appeared to only be working their sound machines, Fog and lights and did not interact with spectators or take requests.

Terrible location. We parked our car in the nearby paid parking few blocks away. There was burglary on our car..It was around 1 pm on saturday afternoon..they took away allthe luggage in the car worth 15000$ stuff including ids, jewellery, gadgets .We lost our passports too. Please be careful if you are visiting this place. There is not even a positive thing the cops in this area took interest in the case reported, they were like, this is common in this area. I would never ever come back to Miami.worst experience ever.

Its great to hang out with family and friends during day and night. Many restaurants, stores, cruises, even events around. Only I dont like when some people has animals like parrots, snake, alligator to make money with them, and they suffer being there all day in boxes with their mouth taped. I did complain them about the poor animals, and they said "they are animals, thats all." You really think is that fun?? Making suffer creatures to get benefits from them its not right. Please do not pay them, stop them. Thanks.

Personally, it feels like Bayside is overrated. YES, its located directly on the water and many excursions are available on site, but for locals its not as attractive as it sounds. Food is over priced there yet theirs a large selection of good restaurants. You can find the knif, the hard Rock Casino, bubba gump, blue martini, chilis, ice cream shops such as haggendaz.... Often you can find a little kiosk with living wild animals such as snakes, birds and so on to take pictures.

Only reason this is getting 2 stars is because the food court was fantastic. Other wise I would feel more comfortable in a backwoods flea market. The shop owners were hungrier than sharks and treated you like garbage if you politely said no thanks. My wife was told her hair could use a brushing because it looked like it hasnt been brushed before. I get advertised but car dealers have less bloodlust in their eyes. And then even for a touristy area everything is way overpriced.
