My plan was to window shop & possibly eat some lunch. I have been to South Hills Village many times in the past 30 some years. But usually accompanied my wife who is usually on mission to see or purchase specific items. Parking was easy near lunch hour during the week. And access to the SHV was through Target. Did some window shopping through Target to the inner Mall. I walked through the lower section of the SHV & when to the display of the SHV Mall floor plan. Here there is a listing of the various business establishments by type of business listed with a letter or number designation that is identified also on the overall SHV floor plan. In addition the adjacent businesses that are not included under the SHV Roof were also identified on the overall general vicinity plan by name and location. I was looking for someplace for a quick warm lunch. Located the eating establishments on the plan, traveled up the escalator to the 2nd floor to the general eating grouping. There is a good selection of eateries from which to choose. And sufficient table groupings & seating stiles from which to chose. I had a good fulfilling lunch. While I was eating cleaning personnel set about picking up any loose debris that might have been left by prior customers. This was performed without impacting the current customers space. The restrooms for the general public in the eating area were clean and well laid out for use & had sufficient supplies. It was pleasing experience. And one that I would look forward to the actual sales, purchased items ldentification, installation reguirements, required testing of the specific items to verify that the particular items is meeting the designated fuction.

This is the worst mall in the entire state. There used to be so many great stores here. Warner Bros., WQED, Suncoast, F.Y.E., Spencers and a few other stores I cant remember the name of. It was because this mall had these stores that I would stay for almost four hours. Now, I only stay for an hour, get something to eat, then leave. I mean take a look around. Its got over 15 clothing stores. The mall doesnt need that many. It has a Target which is ridiculous considering the mall sales 95% of what the mall sales. Ex: Target sales clothes. The mall sales clothes. Target sales toys. The mall sales toys. Target sales food. The mall sales food. Whoever owns the mall needs to realize that by getting rid of the stores people would frequent and replacing them with stores that arent needed they arent attracting buisness, theyre losing it. Honestly, who wants to go to a mall that doesnt even have the same clientele that it used to. The only reason I go is because of when I have my days off I dont want to stay home. Even though, I had to give one star about this mall because thats the only way I can post, truth is, I give South Hills Village zero stars. Want it to get a five-star rating. Get back the stores I mentioned.

South Hills Village Mall is a perfect medium-small mall with many relevant and modern stores and several medium sized business outlets. With a newly remodeled food court, a movie theatre 50 yards from the food court, and many new stores planned this is an excellent mall to visit and shop at. Some of the brand name stores found here are Victorias Secret, Apple Store, Disney Store, Express, Abercrombie, Dicks, Target, Barnes & Noble(w/Starbucks), JCPenney, Sears, Home Depot, Best Buy, Market District, Toys R Us, Kohls, Burlington, TGIF, Jareds and in the near future a Whole Foods market and several other brand name store fronts. Slightly smaller than most strip malls, which isnt a bad thing because its really only missing those empty spaces that cant stay filled. This is the perfectly sized mall with some big name stores that many other area malls dont offer. Clean and well lit, this is my personal area mall of choice when shopping and I would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Its an alright mall. Its really old so its not very large. Its located in a very upscale neighborhood (Upper St Clair), and the local shoppers seem to scoff at anyone who isnt blatantly showing off their wealth. This has also caused the types of stores in this mall to change over the years. They do not have a spencers gifts. Its probably the only mall in the Pittsburgh area that is missing this store. Most of the stores seem to cater to the yuppy crowd now, they got rid of the cool one-of-a-kind stores and replaced them with your run of the mill upscale apparel stores. Overall, its just another basic mall with some yuppy stores like banana republic, black and white, j jill, etc. This mall offers nothing new, there isnt anything to actually do at the mall, and the area surrounding the mall is sub par. The mall itself is tiny and tbh, the only thing that it has going for it is that its in a good location.

Clean, well-maintained mall that is easy to navigate and get in-and-out of. I typically go here only to visit the Target and Dicks anchor stores, but occasionally I will visit Macys, and actual store mall (like the Gap) or the food court, as they have Noodles & Co. and an entrance to Red Robin (great for the kids). Ill be honest that I believe malls are becoming a thing of the past, and I do most of the clothing shopping for my family online, but it is nice to visit sometimes if I need a new outfit last-minute or around the holidays when it is fun to shop with others. On weekend nights, there are quite a few teens, but I feel they are mostly responsible and harmless. At the mall, you can also find a great Barnes & Noble, a movie theater, BJs Brewhouse and Bonefish Grill. All great places to stop if you are in the right market/mood!

I have never been to Kays as I usually visit Jared The Galleria of Jewelry. After shopping there and several bad customer service experiences, I thought I would go across the parking lot into the mall and visit the Kay Jewelers to look for an engagement ring and my sales associate, Brandy, was so friendly and helpful that I purchased a Leo Diamond engagement ring. It is breathtaking and my fiance LOVED IT!. I just wanted to take a moment to applaud her and sincerely thank her and the store as well for a great job because I would not have considered the Leo diamond. I work in sales myself, so I really appreciate great customer service and a knowledgable staff. I highly recommend this store if you are shopping for Jewelry in the South Hills Village area. Sincerely, NRO

Wont be coming here anymore. If one person that is a teenager does something bad, for the rest of the night the security guards will be trying to get all teens to leave the mall. Youll be sitting down in one of the seating areas around the mall and the manager will come up to you and say "if youre done shopping leave" this just happened to me last night. In my opinion this shows that they dont care about me and only want my money. I was just trying to have fun but got stereotyped because of my age. The worse part is the manager that kept telling me to leave came down even harder on my black friends and followed them around until we all ended up leaving. I am very upset with the South Hills Village staff.

Big fan of South Hills mall. Its typically pretty empty and has a good variety of stores. They offer amenities for handicap, in the main office down near the Macys. And its really clean, and pretty quiet. The Target is the best one in the area for womens and juniors clothing, as the section is huge! The Forever21 is kind of small (for a forever21), the Victorias Secret and PINK are large, the Express and Express Men its really nice and had a lot if sales and clearance, the Hollister is typical size and lacks clearance merchandise, food court is good size, Sears is 2 stories, Sees is usually giving pout a free sample of chocolate, and threes much much more.
