AcceptanceNow is a terrible company and you all should have chosen someone else for your financing company. This was my experience with them from the review I wrote them: We went through AcceptanceNow at Ashley Furniture because the saleswoman said that it would probably be the best bet if we were worried about our credit. We were at the Ashley Furniture in Lakeland, FL. We worked with the saleswoman who helped us pick out our package and she handed us over to Brittany with AcceptanceNow. She was awesome and helped us through the process. We had our delivery scheduled for this coming Tuesday and today I got a call from AcceptanceNow saying that our lamp was backordered. I asked if we could just pick up the lamp when it came in, but the girl said no. When I asked if we could just swap out the lamp, she said that she didnt know but complained that she would probably have to re-write the contract. I dont see why that would be an issue seeing as it is her job, but I tried to be patient. She said she would have to check with the manager and would call me back. After not hearing anything for over 2 hours, my husband called to find out what was going on. She was rude the first time when he called and kept saying that she would call me when she calls me. When he talked to her again, she was dismissive and said that we could change out the lamp for our Tuesday delivery if we got there as soon as possible. I left work early so I could change out the lamps. We worked with another salesperson and when they went to set up our delivery, they said that the Tuesday delivery had been cancelled. We drove all the way out there and she assured us that we could still get our delivery on the same day. When my husband asked for the number for your corporate office, she rolled her eyes and pointed at a sign. This is HANDS DOWN the worst customer service that I have ever received. She obviously does not care about customers and your company is disorganized if you cannot communicate properly with Ashley Furniture when you sit right next to them. She said that we could refund, but she couldnt do anything else. We will be calling your corporate office and Ashley Furniture to let them know about our terrible experience. Her name was Jessica and she said that Brittany was on vacation otherwise, we would have requested her. I would not have been as upset if we had gotten a timely phone call when it got backordered, were told that if one piece coulldnt be delivered, we couldnt get anything (when they gave us the throw blanket the day we purchased), if she actually knew what she was talking about, etc. Actually everything about this experience was absolutely terrible. I should have just ran my credit and went with their financing. This is my issue with Ashley Furniture: I think that you all (Ashley Furniture) also really dropped the ball on this one. My husband and I made a purchase over 1k and were disrespected. We should have been notified by someone earlier about the delivery being delayed because of the backorder and delivery shouldnt have been cancelled when within 30 minutes of our my initial conversation with Jessica. How is it that our delivery for something that we ordered a week ago cant make it here until at least 12/17? You need more delivery trucks or drivers because this is unacceptable. They even told us that our stuff would arrive at the warehouse this Tuesday, but they dont have any drivers until the following week. This is the last purchase that I will make with Ashley Furniture and I have let all of my friends who are in the market for furniture know to go to Badcock or Rooms-to-go. This experience has made me regret being a repeat customer at your company.

I am giving this one star because I really like my furniture. We went to the store looking for specific pieces that we had seen online. They were new, so the store did not have them in stock. I told the sales lady that my husband and I would like to look around. She continued to follow us the entire time we were in the store. She would not leave us alone. While we were looking at one set, she would be saying "come over here and look at this!" We have limited space in our livingroom, so we knew what would fit. My husband found a set that we both really liked, and we decided to purchase it, despite the hovering sales lady, and despite that it was not what we had originally went in for. A couple of things were different than what was on the floor, such as lamps and rug, but we were able to work that out. Fast forward a week.........The delivery guys show up, and immediately after knocking begin to tell me how mad they are about working on Labor Day. Ok, I get that, but do not go off on customers about that. They bring in the table set, and one of the legs is broken, and the tiles are cracked. They go outside and come in to inform me that someone will contact me the next day to get it exchanged. Two days go by, and I finally call customer service. After three transfers someone is willing to talk to me. He says that they exchange is set up. He calls me back five minutes later to ask for my phone number. Way to go Einstein. The new table comes and it is not the same table AT ALL! It is around six inches shorter than the others. My husband calls to Ashley and they say that they are supposed to be that way. If we had the shorter tables we wouldnt be able to access them from the couch. They say that a new one is on the way, in four days. This is ridiculous. The drivers were upset and mishandled our furniture. My husband found the piece of the leg laying in our road. These are metal tables. I am not sure how you break a piece of metal on the ground if you are not slamming stuff around. FIX IT ASHLEY!! This is my second set of Ashley Furniture, and I will never deal with them again.

So I purchase a new leather sectional yesterday (4/5/13) and had it delivered yesterday. The sectional is too big for the room, I admit fault at a mistake in measuring. I call the sales person as soon as I get home to discuss options. I am told flatly, no, that a return or exchange is impossible. I am not trying to get my money back and I even stated I would be happy to pay a restock fee. I actually want to spend more money in the store for a better piece. Terrible customer experience. This can be fixed with ease but yet nothing. I cannot see any possible chance of future business if this is how you are treated. Not the only furniture store in town. BUYERS BEWARE. NO RETURN OR EXCHANGE POLICY!!!!! 4/8/13 UPDATE: Still no reply from store manager. I have gone so far to email the corporate office with hopes of finding some resolution to this problem. I called this morning to cancel all my accounts with Ashley. I will update when anything changes. New UPDATE: I actually took a call this afternoon for delivery confirmation for other piece of my original order. The same piece I canceled last Friday. Spoke with the same person and once again I was told it was canceled. Do your homework and be sure to shop around. Ashley is NOT the only furniture store in town. I have washed my hands of this place. UPDATE 4/9/13: Corporate sent me an email stating that they could not help as each store is individually owned and operated and that I should continue to "work" with my store to explore options. That seems hard to do when a manager never returns calls. Even though you do not control each store as explained to me, perhaps you should review the policies set forth by establishments carrying your name.
