Goodbye Publix. I USED to be a loyal Publix shopper for the past 7 years in spite of their much higher pricing for their customer service. I I was at the Lake Mary Location last night and they had a BOGO special on Tomato Sauce there was 15 or 20 left so I took them and placed them in my cart and then proceeded to shop for the next hour, over filled my cart. When I got to the cashier she said she was going to have to get managers approval for the tomato sauce. What? I buy in bulk and I spend quite a bit of money on shopping there every week and I know most of the employees by first name. So anew Manager I never seen before (or noticed) comes over and informs me that he can only let me purchase 8 cans. I asked him where it says that and he said it doesnt its just store policy. Really? How about putting a sign up so I dont waste an hour shopping only to find out later? Anytime I spend money and some big corporation that tells me how I am going to spend my money and what I can or cannot buy that doesnt sit well with me. I told the manager that I had purchased a large amount of BOGO pasta also and asked if he was going to limit me on that also? So he went through my basket (yes really!) and since I bought different styles of pasta he was going to let me purchase it. So I told him if I couldnt keep everything in my cart I was leaving and never coming back and he said that was ok because that was store policy. So they lost my business over 10 jars of tomato sauce I guess individual customers dont mean very much. I think with their high prices and competition popping up all over like Fresh Market, Aldis, Wal-Mart (can you say 25% savings and Costco its a big mistake because lets face it Publix all you have left is customer service. Called the 800 number they didnt seem to care .. Said the Store Manager Kerry was going to call me to explain store policy to me but I never heard from her. I say FAIL all around.

The Dell department is awesome they bust their butts today busy as all out I still there for 15 to 20 minutes Kim hit one customer that had 10 various daily items that she purchased Kim did a slam. Getting the job done for this one customer multitask tremendous effort to me the expectation of that one customer as I waited patiently Im serving I also give kudos to Phil and Guri Andrew Sue I left also comment on the service I received from Kat and Jen All around the deli department bust their butts they all get a 10 plus in customer service doing the job well done meeting expectations of every single customer thank you deli department February 12 2017 Sunday and I cannot leave out the tall handsome African American manager who is always professional courteous old school Publix and Kerri and Carolina as well as the Young white male manager always very professional courteous respectful thank you thank you thank you Miss Lee Odie

I dont usually shop at this specific Publix, but it is the one I end up getting my subs from. Unfortunately the last 3 times I have placed an online order for a sub pickup, they dont have the sub available by the appropriate time. You then have to wait in line to even ask about it, where they have always replied with "oh, we were busy at that time" or "we had a lot of orders around that time". *sadface* Place the order again in person. I usually only order subs so I can pick them up while on break at work, so I have a limited amount of time. Having to wait in line and re-order it usually doubles the amount of time Im allocated for my break, so it sucks to say the least. The subs are great but pro tip: dont use their online ordering system at this location unless you have enough time to re-order everything again once you get there.

Overall clean publix but the deli is awful. Tried taking advantage of ordering subs online and when I get there to get my item they inform me they have run out. I understand sometimes you run out of a product but how about a call or something. I provide email and phone number. I get there they apologize and use the excuse we tried calling. That never happened. I hate to give negative reviews but this is not a one time thing. This is multiple time thing. If its not available it is messed up. I have had to write cooking instructions in the online order just go make sure it is cooked correctly. Such as do not toast lettuce. Thought that would be a given but believe me, it is not. Hopefully someone at publix can fix this.

Four stars are for my experience at this Publix in general, not this experience. The deli wait was ridiculous for only one person in front of me and 5 people behind the deli/subs area. When it came time to check out, the cashier Sophia chose to text instead of helping the bagger bag the groceries of the lady in front of me. When she greeted me she didnt make eye contact or even smile. She picked up her phone twice to text while I was there. The reason Im writing such a harsh review is because everytime I come here, I have a nice experience and employees actually crack a smile and are really helpful and know this is not the "Publix standard". Valerie is the best cashier this Publix has.

My mother and I were in Orlando shopping when we requested uber go drop us off at Daytona beach then for some reason my credit card was denied so some friendly people who were going in public direction offered to drop us it was around 9 we tried to request uber one more time the request was denied so around 9:40 we head to the customer service to ask for help in requesting a cab since my mother and I are foreigners and we know no one here and the guy told us "sorry I dont wanna get involved " publix closes at 10 and there is nothing around it it was dark and we were all on our own no one offered to help to women standing alone so I guess rude staff idk ..

This is not a Publix I shop at, as I live out of town, but this 5 star review is for their bakery. I ordered my wedding cake from Publix and they did an outstanding job! They have several standard designs to choose from but we really wanted to design our own. They worked with us to make sure they fully understood our vision. On the day of, we finally got to see the cake and it was PERFECT! We would not have changed a thing!! It was gorgeous, tasted amazing, and was very reasonably priced. I would recommend Publix bakery and anyone in need of a cake.

Very clean well organized store only issue that made me rate this a 3 star was the rude cafe lady giving me a hard time about asking for a half dozen donuts, she told me there are some already box up I said Id like more variety she said " well I guess if you need more variety Ill have to go get a box even tho we dont normally do that" which made me feel awkward and like I was asking a lot! Definitely will be finding somewhere else to get my donuts!
