I dont write reviews or get all over the top about buying things but I have to in this case. The First Place Fitness team is amazing. The owner is the most honest guy (I am not related to him) I have dealt with in a very long time. He stands behind everything he sells and, the prices are unbelievably fair. There are a lot of places to get "cheap" prices, but you get "Cheap stuff". His prices are great and his products are great quality. I have been purchasing from him for nearly a year now and would NOT buy any fitness or workout equipment, supplements or other health items anywhere else. I like being able to trust a place and knowing I will be taken care of if something isnt as anticipated. SPEND YOUR $$ HERE. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!

First off I recommend go to Patrick for any questions you may have about fitness equipment. I called the southside location looking for a stepper and he was very knowledgeable and friendly on the phone. He found one at the orange park location and ask if I wanted them to bring it to the southside location...what service!! I said I would go get it and I did. The manager and staff at the other store were also friendly and enthusiastic about my purchase, and they gave me a deal! Even better they both helped me to my car with the stuff! Very nice people, and I highly recommend either store!

Recently we ordered a treadmill from First Place Fitness. Daniel was great in helping us set up this equipment and getting data from the monitor. We then ordered an exercise bike. Before it was delivered, we decided to move to a townhouse which became available. As a result, we did not have room for the bike. First Place Equipment refunded the full amount of the purchase and keep the bike as they could not return it to the supplier. This is customer service that we just do not see now!!!! Terrific place and Daniel is the best!!!

I decided that an elliptical would be a great source of low impact, aerobic exercise. Charlie at First Place Fitness Equipment, talked me through the features and benefits of the many different top brands that they sell. I settled on one that felt right for me. They delivered it to my house and set it up. I was totally pleased with the way they educated me and the price they charged. That elliptical is serving me well. So we paid $4,000 for an elliptical. Its very heavy duty in a very nice piece of equipment. The real problem is in order to track your workouts you have to have an iPad. The equipment doesnt connect well with Android devices. This is something the staff at the store knows absolutely nothing about. Every time I tried to use our elliptical I get frustrated. Do a lot of research before you buy

Charlie and his son are always very helpful everytime my boyfriend and I come to the store. They give great tips on the products and equipment. They are very honest. I worked for them as a service manager they do not care about the customers they want to bend you over every chance they get. They are over priced and try to sell you what is convenient to them not you. I have seen first hand how they operate trust me your better off going somewhere else. If not youll regret it later.

Had a great experience with Daniel. Came looking for a bench, his knowledge about various brand and functionality helped me decide what is best fit for me base on his recommendation. Doesnt up sell and only educate with the equipment your looking for. Definitely would recommend and they got the best deals in town

Purchased an FX2 trainer as well as attachments and free wights. The delivery and set up was top notch and the staff was great. I def recommend them. They were also great with price matching as well. If you need any type of fitness equipment I highly recommend them!
