This place rocks! I stop in about once a week to get an alkaline coffee that nowhere else in town carries. Every time I go to Sunflower, the staff is always very friendly and polite. They can always answer all of my questions about their various health products, especially the supplements. Its hard to find so many high quality, truly healthy things all in one place that is affordable, unlike stores like earthfare, luckys etc, that are only the facade of a health food store. I like that I can pick up a few grocery items here, in addition to eco-friendly cleaning products and other things you simply wont find anywhere else. Shop local, shop small!

I am from San Diego, visiting my mom in Live Oak. I happened to find this store on my gps... And Im so happy that I did!! They have such a wide selection of gluten free items... and the good tasting ones too!! Both the gentlemen and lady working in there were very helpful and friendly... the gentleman even assisted me with my groceries out of the car. Thank you for having such a great selection of gluten free items. I cant wait to visit your store in Lake City... I just dont know how the staff will be able to compare though :) Maybe someday you guys will make it to San Diego!

The first time I came in I had the pleasure of meeting Mary. She was very friendly and helped me with my situation and shared information regarding different products. She is very knowledgeable and suggested products that she felt would be good. I have been in the store a few times and she is always eager to hear how I am getting along. I am much better and progressing toward my goal of stopping stomach meds. I am a snowbird from NC and look forward to visiting next winter.

Connor was a super friendly guy and had a great conversation with me about nutrition and some other things. Products are products, and he knew his stuff. But what you go to a local place for are the intangibles, the talk and smiles and warmth. Im not a big health store shopper, but Ill be back.

The only health food store at which I shop! The staff is friendly, helpful and KNOW their stuff! Also, Sunflower is always clean and stocked well. The one time they ran out of a supplement I wanted they put some on hold the day it came in & called me right away. LOVE Sunflower!
