On Tues 4/25, I went to the store on senior citizen day to buy dog treats. when I opened the door an employee was standing there with a bearded dragon. Before I walked in, I asked the employee if there were any snakes out, because Im deathly afraid of them. She said, NO they are in the back of store! I went to the dog food section, got my treats, went to check out. When paying, an employee walked to the check out with a SNAKE around her neck, that belong to someone who brought it into the store. I screamed to get it away from me! I told them them I would never come back after being a loyal customer for over 10 years. In the parking lot I saw a nice employee, Antoin who felt bad for me, because the employee lied to me. He said he would get the manager on duty to come out and talk to me. She came out, & said that snake owners have every right to bring them in the store, that they love them as much as I love my Dog! The issue is they LIED to me when I asked, I feel that they were trying to terrorize me after I asked if there were any SNAKES out! I know that it is a pet store, but there are Reptile stores in the area.The majority of their business is for dogs & cats. I will Never go to their store again. The manager was not apologetic at all. She said some people have phobias to dogs too, so you need to avoid their store too!!!

URINED ON CANS AND BAGS OF FOOD USING THE BOWLS AS TOILETS,RATS ALSO CHEW UP THE BAGS OF FOOD LEAVING HOLES ON THEM. FOR SOME REASON PEOPLE ASSUME THE RATS ARE GERBILS THINKING THEY ESCAPED AND THE URINE SMELL IS FROM THE ANIMALS THAT GO INSIDE THE STORE, BUT ITS NOT.THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT KEEPS GOING, BUT DISMISSES IT BECAUSE EVERYONE WORKING THERE HAS TO CLEAN THE BAGS EVERY DAY, NOT REALIZING HOW BAD THE PROBLEM IS. ALSO HAVING THE WORKERS FEELING SICK ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE TO CLEAN UP THE ROTTING RAT CORPSES, THIS IS DONE WITHOUT ANY GLOVES OR HOT WATER TO WASH THEIR HANDS WITH.SO IF YOU GO THERE AND DONT TOUCH THE ANIMALS FOR SALE YOU WILL STILL TOUCH RAT URINE FROM A TOY, A CAN, OR A BAG OF FOOD. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I WORKED THERE AND COULDNT STAND IT THATS WHY I LEFT.THE COMPANY KNOWS ABOUT IT AND HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR YEARS AND KEEPS GETTING WORSE. THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT DOESNT WANT TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT -WHY BECAUSE ITS PET FOOD? I BET IF IT WAS A GROCERY STORE THEY WOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING ABOUT IT.I JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW AND IF YOU SEE SOMETHING CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT YOURSELF HOPEFULLY THEY GET ENOUGH CALLS AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT BEFORE SOMEONES PET GETS SICK.

I go to this pet store weekly... their prices arent the absolute best for some things, such as fish and animals. But their prices on goods are pretty good. I signed up for mailings so get coupons... which helps a lot with weekly trips. The staff is very helpful. Ive never gone in there and not had every single staff person greet me in some way while I was there. If one person doesnt know something, theyll ask everyone until they find an answer. Its not nearly as big as Petco or Petsmart, so they dont hold big adoption events and offer training, and just dont keep as much product. But its a perfect store for necessities, and they have quite a bit of the maintenance and care side of pet ownership.

Worst store to shop at and go to, even worst management system, failed to offer service and the service provided was even worse, My questions were not answered, was told where stuff were but no guide or help, the animals had no food or water, these people are just here for the money. I go outside and i see what appears to be a blonde lady and a tall lady outside smoking and talking about disturbing things outside of the parking lot of the store. And there was a older lady trying to pick up her cans of food she drop and all they did was continue to laugh and smoke

This is the best pet store in the area. The customer service is untouched by other pet stores or even other businesses as a whole. The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help answer any questions or concerns pet owners may have. Not only do they take the time to talk to the customers, but they also walk the customer to products and discuss possible product options. Great store!
