We have been taking our vehicles to this Pep Boys location for nearly three years. We have not ever had such reliable, cost efficient, and honest car care anywhere else. Im writing this because of a recent issue with our car. My wifes car was experiencing a vibration in the left front end. As it was a front wheel drive, we were convinced it was a serious problem as it only occurred when doing lane changes etc. to the left. I brought it in early in the morning and explained the issue to Chip. He outlined what COULD be the problems; but, didnt want to commit to any of the solutions until the car was thoroughly checked out. He called me back later in the day and said that they didnt think it was anything major. I had him keep checking. When he got back to me, he explained, in detail, what he thought it was and his recommended course of action. His solution was to balance and rotate all four tires. If that was not it, he proposed replacing the struts. It would have been easy to jump straight to the more expensive solution. However, he opted for the correct process. Since weve been taking our vehicles to this location, we are always pleased with their approach to their work. I would HIGHLY recommend the Racetrack Road location to anyone desiring high quality work at an affordable price.

I took in my wifes Lexus recently for a new set of tires. Going in blind I didnt know what to expect as it can be hit or miss with these kinds of places. What I found however was a very honest and trustworthy crew. Lets face it, the crew has to be trustworthy too, as Ive seen the hidden camera footage of shop guys digging through your car swiping every bit of change they can find and whatever else. The prices seemed competitively fair and the work of the crew was exceptional. I had them additionally do a 4 wheel alignment so as not to take a chance on prematurely wearing out $1200.00 Dollars worth of new Michelins being put on the car. They did an excellent job on the alignment as well, the car darn near drives itself. I found the lounge waiting area a bit to be desired but overall its a decent store with a great crew. Ill take that any day over an overpriced dealers show room with a lousy crew bent on up-sailing you into poverty, or worse. These guys shoot you straight and they are as cost conscientious as you are.

Went to get my oil changed and tires rotated. It took 2 hours and afterwards the manager said I needed to get my engine flushed, which I had already done about 6 months previous so I knew it didnt need to be done again. He also said my brake pads needed to be changed soon, or else it would destroy the brake drum within two months. I took the car to another place to get the oil changed about six months later and asked them to look at the brake pads. They said they were fine. I wont be going back to Pep Boys on Racetrack due to the untrustworthy manager.

I went here for years and bought many tires and had no issues. At some point beginning a couple of years ago I noticed things changed and I felt the quality of service had declined but Im happy to say they have a new manager in this store and they are back to being the great shop they were a couple of years ago. This is good for me because I m in business and own many vehicles which all stay busy on weekdays. They are open on Saturday Sunday so having someone I can trust with my vehicles on the weekend is really important to me.

AMAZING customer service. Honest and friendly. VERY KNOWLEDGABLE. We took our car in after we left the dealership being told a major part needed changing before anything else could be tested... Pep boys tested the small parts to rule them out FREE of charge. They even took my husband around to show that they could be tested and how. They were friendly and saved us 140$ by ruling out other possibilities. They were honest. Dont see my of that these days. I highly recommend them.

They checked my brakes and couldnt figure why i couldnt get a harder pedal, said it was a bad master cylinder, its the second one ive been told now that is bad but none the less they didnt charge me anything, but as far as customer service, its a little lacking, first impressions are everything and i got a bad one, kind of stand off ish, anybody can work on a car, not rocket science, so i think ill take my business else where that has a little bit better customer service

Brought our 2014 Camaro in because the air pressure warning kept coming up low. Not only did they leave our car parked and UNLOCKED until we picked it up and found out. They didnt seem to notice the NAIL in tire we only found out when we took to the dealership because it was still leaking air. IDIOTS!!! We will never be back

Got there right when they opened up and the oil change still took an hour and a half. They stated they would check the air in the tires, however upon leaving I checked the PSI in the tires. And it was still the same. They never aired my tires. As soon as I left, I had to to go to Tom Thumb and air up my tires.

The guys in the shop have the best customer service Ive had at any pep boys. I drove all the way from Crestview,FL. To this one that was about 45 minutes out the way because of how great they were/are with taking care of my car and making it a friendly wait environment.

My tire went flat across the street where I work. The guys were nice enough to come to my car and pump up my tire so I could drive to my car across the street to the shop AND fixed it for free! Im definitely getting my tires mounted with them in the next few weeks.

Misdiagnosed a problem. If I didnt get a second opinion then I would have been out an extensive repair that wouldnt fix the issue. Oil change took over 80 minutes with appointment. The mechanics dont seem to be as experienced but the service was friendly.

Got my oil changed here today on my Jeep Cherokee by Ken and some other helpful people. Great staff and service. Some places are hit and miss, this one is ran clearly legit and professional. Ill be back here often as long as Im stationed in the area.

Called the day before to schedule an oil change and replace head lamp. Mentioned the oil change and the bulb I brought. 1 1/2 hours to change a light bulb forgot the oilchange completely. Good luck. $115
