I went to get 2 pair of tinted prescription eye glasses. The manager of the store was my salesman and after I picked out 2 frames he showed me the tints. I currently have blue and he showed me a blue they had but was told the tint would be a little darker then what I had. I agreed and then he sent me to the eye exam. TWO weeks later the FIRST pair of glasses came in and then TWO weeks after that the second. I waited till both pairs were ready as if I can take off from work 2 different times because they cant get their ordering right. When I went in they showed me the glasses and they werent darker then what I had but much lighter. I told them I didnt like them and the manager came over to talk to me. The same kid that sold them to me was now telling me he was wrong but now there was nothing he could do about it. After an hour of high pressure to "just take them and itll be ok..." I said NO and wanted a refund. So this is where we had the second problem. I was sold on two pairs of glasses they couldnt produce and then went to the eye exam. I only went to the eye exam because of the sale they made. When I asked for a refund I was told I wouldnt get my money back for it because it was a service. I said the only reason I got the eye exam was because of the promise of the tinted glasses. Bottom line was that they wouldnt refund me and I had to dispute it with the credit card company. They roped me in with the promise of the glasses I wanted and then when they couldnt produce them I was to pay for a service that I would NEVER have gotten from them if I wasnt getting the glasses. Truth? There are only about 200 eyeglass places in Fort Lauderdale that I can go to. I was charged 220.00 for the glasses that I could have gone to a local doctor and gotten the tint for the same price if not less. My rule of thumb is to always try and go to the local guy and not corporate. I got sucked into Eye Lab by their discounted price of "2 pair of glasses for 69 dollars". 220.00 later and a month to get the glasses I now remember what I hate the corporate machine. My credit card company is going to get my money back but 1.5 hours at the store of them trying to high pressure me into taking them and another hour on the phone with their corporate... What a disaster. The manager sold me my glasses and he couldnt even do that. The manager! If a manager doesnt even know his own product what good is he and what does that say for the company he represents? Poor service. Bad experience. Wont go back.

I went to my eyelab on 4/18/16 for a glasses/contact exam. Speaking with others, I was under the impression that my eye exam would be free. However, I did read online that if there was a fee of $50.00 for a contact lens exam, my eyelab would credit you $50.00 towards glasses. When I arrived to my eyelab to explain this to the staff they informed that the promotion does not exist, however the manager on duty, Olivia, informed me that she will credit me a free eye exam that I can use anytime with the next 2 years. I thought that was great, until I later looked at my receipt and saw that she charged me the $20 club fee to receive that service. After my eye exam, I purchased glasses and a 6 month supply of contacts and was informed that my glasses would be in no later than 5/2/16 due to purchasing the thinner lenses with no glare coating. I had no problem with the waiting period, as I worked for an optical store in the past. However I did not hear anything from my eyelab until 5/9/16 when I contacted them. When I spoke to the staff and informed them that I was calling to follow up on my order, she informed me that I had "already picked them up". I told her that I had not received any contact form anyone at my eyelab nor did I receive my glasses yet. She then placed me on hold for 9 minutes, yes 9 minutes, and told me that the frames I picked had broke when they were applying the lenses to them and they had to reorder them. On 5/10/16 I returned to my eyelab for a follow up visit for my contact lenses. After my exam visit, I spoke with the staff and requested an update on my glasses. I explained to them that I was informed the frame broke and they had to request a new frame from another store. The staff informed me that the information I was given was false and that my order was not placed until yesterday after I spoke with the staff. I worked for an optical company for 8 years and understand that lenses and frames can break when making them. But I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. I wanted to cancel my order on my first visit on 4/18/16 due to the customer service, however I am in need of new glasses. But after todays experience and being informed that after 3 weeks my glasses have not even been order, I have no choice but to request a refund. I will definitely not be returning back to this company.

A month ago i came to this facilty for an exam the day i came in the internet kept losing service so i patiently waited for (3) hours not one time did either of the managers which there were 2 there approach me and say thank you for your patience we be with u soon nothing when they did get to me the system went down again in the middle of the exam so i came back a few days later took the exam an waited patiently again for a phone call no called here i am a month later calling them to see if my glasses are in they are i get there pick them up at the time of pick up i met with a rep by the name of joel really nice professional guy the glasses really dident work for me so he advised me to wear them for about a week if they still arent working for me bring them back and we will go from there which brings me to today i came back to the facility to return the glasses again i was greeted by joel he put some info in the system and transfered me over to(SAMANTHA).....WHO NEVER EVEN SAID HI WAS VERY STOICH ATTITUDIE JUST NOT PLEASANT AT ALL THEN THE FIRST THING SHE SAID TO ME WAS WERE THOSE THE GLASSES I GOT FROM THERE INSINUATEING I SWITCHED THE GLASSES SHE THEN BASICALLY WENT TO TELL ME THERES NOTHING SHE COULD DO FOR ME VERY!!! VERY!!RUDELY SO BY THIS TIME IM A LITTLE UPSET AND I LET HER KNOW VERY CALMLY THAT IVE WORKED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR OVER 15YRS AND I THINK HER CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS BY THIS TIME JOEL SEES THAT IM UPSET AND ASKS IS EVERYTHING OK I SAID NO SHE THEN PUT THE GLASSES IN THE CASE AND STATED SHE IS NO LONGER HELPING ME JOEL STEPED IN AND ASSISTED ME IM REALLY NOT THE ONE TO GO ON GOOGLE AND GIVE BAD REVIEWS BUT GUYS THE WAY THIS LADY TREATED ME WAS RIDICULOUS I WOULDT RECOMMEND A SOUL TO THIS PLACE I THINK SHE SHOULD REALLY BE COACHED ON THIS INCIDENT AND FYI....IM NOT STOPPING HERE I REALLY FEEL DISRESPECTED...INSULTED...JUDGED...ETC...(SAMANTHA) U WILL HERE FROM ME AGAIN... THIS PLACE SUCKS AFTER TODAY BESIDES JOEL GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE (NOTHING) GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THEM THE ENTIRE CREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
