BEWARE OF DEALERHSHIP FEES Before I go on much further with my gripe, I must disclose I am partially to blame for overlooking this fee, so please learn from my mistake. I just recently bought a used car from Holman Honda (Doug Brown was our salesperson) and although I love the car I am disappointed about the sales approach. Mr. Brown hyped the car, quality of the inspection process, the warranty, Holman Hondas dedication to taking care of its customers, the extended warranty and more. I was convinced and thought I was getting a fair deal despite the fact I found the EXCACT same car one year newer, less mileage and for the same price at AutoShow Sales. Nonetheless, Mr. Brown convinced me I was in better hands with purchasing from Holman Honda who would honor any problems or concerns I may have in the future referring to warranties. Once we locked in on a price, I had wait to be processed and after 4 hours I was ready to leave. I looked over the invoice and for the life of me I overlooked the $699 PRE-DELIVERY FEE which was not only added to the cost of the car but was subjected to sales tax. Again, my mistake because had I realized it, I wouldve walked away. I bought the car 29JUN and returned to the Holman Honda today to questioned this but was told it was standard fee on both new & used cars. Hoping to get more with honey than vinegar so I pleaded with (who I thought was) the dealership manager to please waive it or offer something due to the lack of information and that I was disappointed in the sales tactics. He apologized and sent me on my way. Bottom line before you fall in love with ANY car know there are more out there. Ask about the dealership fees and stand your ground because the dealer price should be just that with no hidden or additional fees. Please learn from my mistake and be weary of Holman Honda. Happy car shopping! For the record, Doug Brown was knowledgable, polite, courteous, approachable and interesting to talk. However I felt he held back on me as he failed to discuss the DEALERSHIP FEE up front. In addition, he was very concerned about even considering lowering the price as I also made the mistake of showing my hand in how interested I was in the car; another lesson to learn from this review.

For 8 years, I purchased new vehicles only at Holman Honda because the first time was so fantastic. No reason to buy a new car - just looking while car is serviced - and if something strikes my eye, I inquire. Dan R., the salesperson I work with most, ALWAYS sells me a NEW car at the price I want to pay, which with a trade-in, is less $ down than a leased vehicle, with NO payments. I am disabled, and he overextends himself to see that my needs are met competently & quickly, as does Tracey when cranking out all the paperwork. As the daughter of a father who owned a repair garage until he passed way, women can be assured Holman Hondas service department will not take advantage of you; everyone is treated equally, respectfully and professionally. Service personnel are cheerful, helpful and NEVER in 8 years attempted to sell something I did not need; in fact, they do the opposite! I had a nasty neighbor who put drywall screws in my tires every other month as a past time. Not once did Holman Honda charge me to repair the tires, and the tires were fine until I bought a new Honda. Should you choose to wait, the waiting room is comfortable with plenty of amenities. If you ask for work that may take a while, you are provided a ride home and a return ride. Whoever wrote the 2/17/11 review below was NOT at Holman Honda! These guys ARE THE BEST! I refer customers all the time - and I LOVE the $100 referral check Honda sends me if the person buys or leases a Honda, which ultimately lowers the cost of my new Honda (BTW, should you buy or lease a vehicle @ Holman Honda based on my review, please tell Dan R or other salesperson that "Hollie Hoffman" referred me.) Going to any other dealership would be insanity! Thanks Holman Honda! I will remain a loyal customer!

Just for clarification, my review is purely for the Service Department, as Ive had no interaction with the sales department. Long Story Short: My car has been in their shop for 6 Full Business Days, and theyve still yet to complete 7.7 hours of book time labor. Take note that Firestone quoted a total of 4.6 hours of labor for the same exact repairs. Find somewhere else to take your car. Last Friday, I had a scheduled appointment at 12PM to drop my car off for service, with all of the related information for my car and the issues it was having already submitted through their online form. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday pass without having heard anything from the dealership. Monday Tuesday morning at 10AM I elected to call Eddy Milleret who informed me that he was "just about to call me" to inform me of the issues I was having with my car. I told him what work I wanted done on the car and he said that was fine. The rest of the day passes by, only for me to get a call Wednesday morning (today) saying that they couldnt get any of the work done on my car, because in order for them to do the work on the Oil Pan Gasket, they need to remove and replace the Timing Belt. Not an issue for me. I give him the go ahead and he politely informs me that it will be ready to pick up by the end of the day. Here we are at the end of the day and I have to call and leave voice mails spanning from 2PM to 5PM. He finally answers his direct line and informs me the car wont be ready until late morning tomorrow, and now I have no means of travelling to my exam tomorrow morning.

Eddy in the service department is fantastic! I always do my best to provide outstanding customer service, as a result I have very high expectations when Im the customer. Eddy has never let me down. Whenever I call to make an appointment he is always very courteous and professional. He gives me an estimate of the charges and tells me how long it will take. There is rarely a wait when checking in and the waiting area is always very clean. Theres a television, but it isnt too loud. Free Wi-Fi and desks enable you to set up your own office while you wait. In fact, Im writing this review from there right now! This morning when I tried to get on the wifi it was down, but within five minutes of reporting the problem it was up and running. If you dont want to wait, there is a complimentary shuttle service. Ive used it to be dropped at the office and they came and picked me up when my car was ready. As an added bonus they usually wash the car before returning it. Overall, the service department at Holman Honda is one of the most pleasant that Ive ever experienced.

I went there, I was really just driving by... The one sales person I had barely spoke english was smart as a box of rocks, but at least was a good guy... They kept me there for EVER... like all typical car sales tactic... Then they got me to add the gap insurance and warrenty.... and I told him I was tired... and I really didnt care anymore... Then two weeks later... I really didnt want the vehicle... it was a rushed decision because someone else was buying it tomorrow... which is 90% of the time crap... but in the back of your mind you feel like you never know... Anyway - two weeks later... try to return it... I would pay $2500 to return it.. but no... they said I can trade it in.. which is about 60% of what I originally paid... what a scam... 2 WEEKS LATER... and they want to rip you off again... so they can turn around and do it to someone else... In Conclusion: If you have good credit, you can get some good deals... Do not listen to anyone there... buy what you want.. and Remember that Wayne and Lewis are RETARDED Con Artist.
