I left my laptop powered on overnight and when I woke up the fan was making a noise so I figured no big deal the fan probably needs to be replaced. I called Ernesto and asked him about what the process was like to replace the fan as provided him with the make and model of my laptop. I asked him to explain the process to me and asked him if it was possible for me to replace the fan myself. He walked me thru the process on the telephone and said I could do it if I wanted to but he estimated it would take around 3 hours to do, and the whole laptop would need to be disassembled to get at the fan and be able to replace it properly. A few days later I picked up the fan from the store and proceeded to take the laptop apart as Ernesto instructed. Normally I would have Ernesto do this kind of work for me, since I do not trust anyone with my laptop except Ernesto but since I was out of town and would not be back in town for a few months that was out of the question and as long as the fan was not working properly any further use of the laptop might cause overheating and other damage. About 2 hours into the disassembly, I seemed to be stuck. The motherboard would not come loose from the chassis. I called Ernesto. He told me to remove the screw connecting the keyboard to the chassis as it is difficult to spot. He was right. There was 1 screw that needed to be removed that connected the keyboard to the chassis and motherboard. He didnt charge me anything and never asked for a dime for that telephone conversation, even though he spent quite a few minutes with me on the phone explaining the process. He knew exactly how to completely disassemble the exact model laptop I had from memory. So to sum it up, I dont trust anybody with my laptop. I do not drop off my laptop and pick it up from people I dont know for them to fix. Over the span of many years Ernesto has always proven reliable, and helped me with countless Wintel laptop, desktop and general PC software and hardware issues in the past.

I had been experiencing problems with my desktop computer and my laptop computer for the last month or so. I was having a conversation with a friend of mine telling him about my computer problems and needed to find a computer person to fix my computers. It just so happen he had used Ernesto with Complete Computer Repair just the week before our conversation and was very happy with his services and suggest I call Ernesto. He gave me the telephone number so I called him 3 or 4 days ago to set up a time he could come to my home and see what the problem was. As he was kind of booked with appointments he said he could stop by after 8:00 pm that same day. Of course I said that was OK with me as I wanted to get the computers up and running the way they should be. He stopped over that evening and started checking the computers. Come to find out I had several virus one of which was real a bad one which required restoring my computers back to their factory settings. He was able to squeeze me into his work load and started the repair that evening. I am grateful for the friend that recommended Ernesto with Complete Computer Repair. He did a excellent job on both of my computers and they both run better today than when I purchased them. Ernesto Alvarez, visited my home yesterday, this is the second time I have used his services. I was again overwhelmed by his ability to sit in front of my computer and calmly and professional slowly begin to access the problems one by one. Before he arrived I was very concerned about this virus that had attacked my computer, but his demeanor was, no problem, it will be fixed and working like as if you had just bought it. He gave me such a sense of peace, knowing that my computer was in the right hands. After a while that seemed to fly by, my computer was fixed, all the bad stuff was removed and I finally could sigh a sense of relief, thanks to him. If youre looking for a company that will go above and beyond to make sure their customer is satisfied, look no further. Complete Computer Repair (CCR) is the one stop shop for everything. I had an old dell computer which my little sister accidentally sat on and caused the screen to crack. I called up CCR and they came to my home free of charge. They were able to fix my computer screen. If that was not enough, when I received my computer back and turned it on, the keyboard began to smoke. Now, understand that this computer meant so much to me because I earned it during the most difficult time in my life. I was very disappointed. My heart dropped in my stomach because I thought to myself surely Im going to have to pay a fortune for this. Ernesto told me, dont worry Ill fix it. Two days later it was fixed. When he brought it for a test run, there was an issue with the sound and it turned out, I needed a hard drive. He took it back and fixed it again. Over all I am more than satisfied. He fixed my computer screen plus went above and beyond with customer service. I would highly recommend him without a shadow of a doubt. Did I mention that he came right to my door? I am happy to write this review for Ernesto. I have an old Mac (circa 2010) and it was in need of an OS update from OS X to Yosemite , in addition to needing to have a new hard drive installed so that my system would be more efficient. I met with Ernesto and he was very nice and professional from the beginning. He first got as much information as he could from me over the phone to troubleshoot. Then he was available to help that same day. We ran into minor schedule conflicts and he never got mad or pushy, just makes himself available to you when its convenient to be arranged. He offered to meet me at the place of my choosing to make it all the easier on me--even returning my Mac late at night, so that I could have it to use for work the next day! He is quick to reply to texts, he keeps you posted on the status of the job and puts your mind at ease that he is taking care of things for you. I am apprehensive to trust a lot of people, especially in a big city, but Ernesto is honest, extremely reasonably priced and will not rip you off. I cant say that for a lot of people. Give him a try if you have a computer issue you can not solve. I will definitely remember him for the future! Thank you!
