The first time I went in here I was greeted and welcomed in a way that I cannot recall since I was a little girl in the country almost 35 years ago. The grocer was friendly, helpful, warm, informative without being intrusive. It made me so pleased, I went back a week later with my family and he was working on a ladder in the back. He immediately climbed down, came to the front of the store and met my entire family and proceeded to show them all sorts of unusual things in the market. When he did not have one of the items I was seeking, he immediately got on the phone and called other local stores to seek availability. This type of personal and friendly service is so rare, that while there are a few larger Asian markets in the area - Mylan Asian Market get my vote (and my business) for providing the disappearing art of one on one customer service and truly caring owners! Well be back and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this market to anyone interested in Asian foods.

My husband and I go here regularly for all kinds of things. It is small, but the owners Sato and Linh (I hope I spelled the names correctly) are so friendly and helpful. If they dont have what were looking for, they will usually be able to get it for us--which is really AWESOME in the case of uni (sea urchin), which is very hard to get otherwise, but it seems they love it as much as we do and enjoy the opportunity to put in an order. When you walk in, it looks like mostly dry goods and sauces, but the refrigerators in the back have some really great fresh vegetables, plus frozen fish and other yummies. In Dunedin/Clearwater, you can ALWAYS get Asian eggplant, for instance, which is what we went there to get this afternoon, along with beautiful baby bak choi and some sauces wed run out of. I love, love, love that we have this store and this family in our neighborhood. It is worth the drive, if you dont live right there already.

I recently have become passionate about learning to cook Asian styled food, bought a wok and am researching like crazy. Went to this market on 1/30/15 to buy a list of ingredients I never heard of and had no way of even knowing where to begin locating everything. The clerk (I wish I had gotten her name) couldnt have been more helpful and knowledgeable in helping me choose the right items based on what I was trying to do with them. I even found fresh lemongrass which I have been unable to find anywhere else (am going to plant some and she even had helpful tips for that). Really a great store with a very friendly vibe. nice little store with all the essentials. frozen foods, many different types of noodles, rice, snacks, ect. we found everything we were looking for. very nice employees and great prices.

Great small shop that packed with essentials. Some fresh, frozen and dry foods are available. I stopped by few times to pick up rice and some wrappers.

Sticky rice, jasmine rice prices are better than supermarkets. Get your green papayas here when making Thai/Lao style salad. Fun ramen selection.
