Stop pushing the damn books a million cards. When you come in to buy a book the cashiers keep asking you to buy a books a million card. I asked one of the employees and was told the managers make them push the cards or they cut their hours or let them go. They have to ask you to buy the cards 2 times before they ring up your purchase. Managers, have your employees ask once. Stop pushing the cards or I will buy my books online from now on! And stop pushing the magazines that are only free for a couple of months and then you get charged for them!! Stop trying to cheat your customers. You are not doing us a favor by letting us shop in your book store, we are doing you a favor by coming to your store instead of buying our books online!!

Ive always loved getting physical copies of comics and books. Where other to go than Books-A-Million? Though i love the store, i have concerns. The membership cost me about $200 after a discrepancy with the magazine subscriptions and the workers seem very caught up in inventory and side work rather than having time to help customers (they seem very inconenienced to do so). This particular stores saving grace (from a lower rating) was Evan. A simple guy who took the time to help me find a book that i bought, read, and loved. We talked briefly and he shared the same concerns about the memberships. Good place with a lot of potential.

The male cahsier working here (on 7/10/15 at 7:45 pm) is the most opinionated, annoying loud mouth ive ever dealt with in a retail store. I just walked out because of the way he talks to customers. He thinks he is witty when he only comes off as weird and rude. Ill stick with the fort walton location until he is fired.

The staff is incredible. They are super helpful and help you find whatever you need. The discount card is great since I buy a ton of books, and I love just sitting back and drinking the coffee and reading there. Wonderful atmosphere.

Theres a large variety of books and novelty items. Its not really that interesting to me, but I guess they do have a decent selection.

I like it because I love books. They have Comics and Toys too. I prefer B&N employees though.
