If there was an option to give 0 stars I would! I am on a road trip and we stopped at this gas station for gas. The American man was very rude from the start! All we had was $100 bill and he had an attitude and said "I dont have change for that" then he counted it and gave us our change. Two 20s and smaller bills. After we put gas in it we went in to get our receipt he said "we dont do receipts here" super unprofessional so we left because we had to get somewhere on time or we would have argued for the receipt. So proceeded to be on our way.At our next stop right after this gas station was south of the border to gas up again. We gave this cashier the same two 20s that the disrespectful man had given us For change from speedway. She began to tell us one of the $20 bills was FAKE! Counterfeit money.. She wrote on it with the special marker and it had no split or anything on it. we were in shock! It looked front and back like a real 20. It was not. This man took our money and probably pocketed it and gave us one of his fake bills. I wonder how often this happeneds! And you would never know if it were fake or not unless the next store was checking the bills with a marker! She began to tell us its fake and that she couldnt give it back to us either. She had to call security to check it. They confirmed it was counterfeit money. How cruel can people be! This man at speedway was originally mean and had a chip on his shoulder who didnt want to even take our money and was saying he couldnt break the 100 at first then all of a sudden he could...then couldnt give us a receipt which is absurd! I just want everyone to be aware if you go here be careful this man might scam you and you wouldnt know unless another place does not take your money.Now we are out of $20. This place most definitely scams so many of their customers especially the people who are not locals. This is terrible and Im making a complaint and will be calling the better business bureau so they are aware as well. I want my $20 back. Such inconsiderate employees. Karma will get him personally. Ps. We narrowed all of our options down to where we could have possibly gotten that fake money from and the only place it could have been was this gas station because like I said above we had only $100 bill that he eventually broke and gave us our fake change for and our next stop afterwards was the next gas station and we gave the next gas station the money from our pocket, we did not buy anything there and get change.no, and No stops in between the 2 gas stations.So to Conclude, it was this place 100% without a doubt and I believe this rude man was behind it all the way and he most likely makes a lot of money ripping people off and giving them counterfeit money and these customers dont even know because they are on the highway traveling states and states and states just like myself and they cant even go back to try to retrieve their REAL money but once the next store does not accept the customers money itll be too late and then they will realize it came from this rip off establishment. Has this happened to anybody else who has been to this schemful place? If not youre aware now! Be careful! Or just go to the next gas station down the road. I will not give this place the courtesy or will I ever go or recommend this place to anyone. I will not Give them my business again. I also wouldve gave the man from speedway the benefit of the doubt and say he might have not known BUT youre supposed to check all money with a counterfeit marker to see if its real during every transaction like you should. Not this place!why? They are LAZY! But I will not give him that Because of how he approached and treated us from when we originally walked through the door. Check your money thorougly if you recently were a customer here. I think this rip off has to do with more tourists and people who arent from the area or state who are victims to this matter rather then the locals!

Incredibly rude. We came in for a rest room break and coffees... the guy (I refuse to call him a gentleman) working the counter saw my fiance standing by the locked bathroom door and couldnt stop for a second to either inform us it was occupied or unusable. Instead we stood there for 5 min only to go up to the worthless worker and try to get a little information on the situation, in which he turns his head with an irritated look on his face that we (the only two customers on the property) were a bother to him. So we brushed it off for a second and tried to continue getting a coffee. He STILL refused to help and inform us that they werent serving coffee at 5 am either... Instead he turned and looked at me with my question and gave be a look that came off like "why are u bothering me, just leave me alone". So we did. Never again speedway. Perhaps a review on customer service needs to be implemented to the two workers that just apparently didnt feel like helping to travelers on their 3rd day of driving.
