Retaliatory behavior and unfair charges: A Wallpaper Warehouse supplier called the business and asked them to help me with a product of theirs that had been installed in a substandard fashion by a local interior designer who refused to return to our home to make things right. The owner declined to come to our home (a seven-minute drive) unless we paid her $40/hour. Desperate to put our house in order, I agreed. The owner came, looked puzzled, and said shed have to be in touch with the vendor. She offered no ideas for window treatments for another room that I had asked her (by phone and in person) to consider. Another window-treatment store owner from Sarasota, with whom I had been in touch about the other (family) room arrived that evening without having confirmed that she would. She had learned of my problem from her showroom assistant and had called the vendor. She insisted that she was the one to rectify my problem, and she promptly and deftly removed the roller shade from my door and replaced it with a temporary paper shade from her truck. At my request, she provided me with a receipt. I called Wallpaper Warehouse as soon as I could but after hours. There was only an outgoing message and beep, and since there was no invitation to leave a message, I hung up, feeling frustrated and defeated. When the owner called me the following morning to advise her of the unanticipated development, she was enraged and told me that I still owed her $40. I said that I hoped we could work together on my family room. She said I had enough people to help me, and she didnt want to be one of a number. I paid her when she billed me, but is this any way to encourage business, positive word of mouth, etc.? A little compassion and indulgence would have gone a long way. The owner had told me that she had done a lot of work in my subdivision but not for a long time. I wonder why.

I went to this store looking for the perfect wallpaper, after a little while I found that i had to use the restroom. Nothing major, just a quick tinkle. I only have one kidney and cant hold it for hours. When I asked if they had a restroom the associate told me they didnt have a restroom and I would have to go across the street. I didnt want to cross the busy manatee ave, so I said "where do you use the restroom?" I was told the owners forbid the public to use their restroom. How can you own a business and not provide a restroom for your customers? I left and was very disappointed. So if you go there...you better not have to go there.

Wallpaper Warehouse Interiors had exactly what I needed; great fabrics, fabulous wallpaper selection and a staff that knows their stuff!!! Wow, I was so kindly greeted upon entry. Shown the layout of the selections available and thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable, stylish showroom! My wallpapered entry looks great. The shutters in my bedroom are terrific and my draperies even better. The installers were professional and efficient. My friends and I agree, Wallpaper Warehouse is THE place to go for all our decorating needs!
