This place is an overpriced food store that tries to brainwash their customers that they sell the highest quality healthiest food available.THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE.First almost all their ingredients in their prepared foods salad bar and bakery is just conventional.It is the same as publix or walmart.They just price gauge.The store brand 365 organic products which include frozen veggies and canned food is mostly from china or other foreign countries and labeled organic.CHINA HAS NO ORGANIC STANDARDS WHAT SO EVER.The food gets labeled organic when it enter our country with no inspection what so ever in their own country of china.The funny thing they always try to convince their customers to buy organic as well as local grown ,but why do the use 100% conventional ingredients in all their prepared foods and use no organic?Why does Whole Foods say they buy the top quality ingredients that are 100% natural in their store or they wont sell it?That is a lie because now they admit most of their conventional food they sell is full of gmo ingredients.Why do they preach to buy local but the have more food from foreign countries then walmart or publix.Why do they always advertise that Whole Foods is the best place to work when they are almost always hiring at every store and have a very high turn over rate.Why do they promise every worker benefits ,but in order to get the benefits, you have to be voted on a team which very few new people get voted on because existing workers will have to share their profit sharing and get a pay decrease.Because of that most workers there get no benefits and the company loves it because they can always hire new workers for lower pay when they quit.They are destroying the local organic movement.Lastly a lot of their food is not healthy and they try to convince people everything in the store is healthy.Their whole body department sells vitamins from china that have large amounts of heavy metals in it.One of the brands is Irwin naturals.If you look at the back of most of the bottles there is a warning from California that taking their supplement will cause birth defects and cancer.I can go on and on .Wow! Great store isnt it ?

today I witnessed the managers being extremely catty and unprofessional. Without going into details lets just say the guy manager who was dealing with a shoplifter must wish he was a police officer but couldnt qualify the snickering and gossiping and extremely judgmental comments I heard him making to other employees was far, far from professional. I used to work in the nightclub business and am not sure if this guy realizes slandering character equals lawsuits. I wish this young man was able to hear the kind of things being said about him from just around the corner. I guess thats boca for you. Drinking a juice without paying is far from bank robbery honestly the kid looked hungry. I guess thats boca for you. I like the pompano whole foods much better anyway. At least theyre smart enough not to put there soursop in the refrigerated section where it will never ripen. If the young man Im speaking of happens to read this review by any chance please respond back Im sure you would have a lawsuit on your hands with the kind of slandering remark so heard being made to other employees. He even ran to chase the kid out of the front door after police and security dismissed him. I could only imagine what may have been said directly to the young man. Thats the problem with people like that no human decency as far as I could see. Just a close minded judgmental prick. I mean its one thing if the young man was being resilient or disrespectful but he was obviously nervous and fully cooperating. I heard the larger size female manager also acting like a hard ass making inappropriate remarks just around the corner. This was all quite entertaining. Also sad to say the least. What I witnessed and overheard was far from professional. I just dont respect people like that whatsoever.

THIS REVIEW WAS ORGINALLY POSTED 11/18/2012 UPDATED 12/2/2015 This store is conveniently located right off 95 but inconveniently located right next to Boca Raton High. On any given weekday from 2-3:30pm the entire area is annoying and a test of patience. Simply put, this area is not built for the amount of traffic and pedestrian activity it sees. Theres no control and theres really only 2 ways in and out. Well, three if you count the back alley way, which is the way youll have to use when theres a line of pig people cluelessly blocking the intersections. The store as a whole isnt anything largely different than the typical South Florida WFMs. The produce section, however, is better than most. The store associates in the Whole Body department are very friendly and sweet, but a tad on the ditsy/stupid side. This section itself appears to be the standard size with all typical bottles, offerings and trappings. The prepared food section and bakery departments are very good and are better than the other South Florida stores. There also seem to be more vegan selections here, IF you like that sort of thing. The cashier by the name of Peterson is another one of these South Florida mutes that doesnt know how to enunciate or project his voice in a semi loud setting. He also doesnt know how to greet or say thank you. Store manager: Time for some fire under someones arse. The bathroom is typically a disaster and a half. Ive come to accept this as a the South Florida standard.

I went to this store thinking I will find amazing stuff since I already knew the chain to be pricey.. Well, I was left EXTREMELY disappointed. The produce is super expensive & not of the quality youd expect in proportion w the price; the store lack variety of products, I mean they only have like a total of 6 isles for all other products, and A LOT of their products are not "healthy", & double the price of what youd find in say a publix.. Also the meat is vaguely labeled & is not verified by any agency.. So how do I actually know that the beef comes from graassfed no hormones free to roam animal just because WholeFoods printed that on the labeled & is charging me $26/lb???? Get outta here.. Its ridiculous!! Oh & one more thing that upset me.. The salmon they sell IS previously frozen , they do not carry fresh, is COLOR enhanced & farm raised. So its the same exact salmon youd find in "lower quality" chains, except 2-3 times cheaper price than what Wholefoods charges. The bakery is ridiculous, you cant find any fresh baked bread that doesnt taste & feels like cardboard.. Im not a health nut, im just healthy & want to eat wholesome food, not overpriced cardboard, or falsely labeled meat.. So my conclusion is : Wholefoods is really an overhyped waaay overpriced place with shockingly little variety & unhealthy food masked as "healthy". Go somewhere else

This is a delightful whole foods. Always well stocked and organized. The wine selection is excellent for its size and the health and beauty department is exceptional. Each department feels a little bit like its own store which is great because you dont always want to buy wine or cosmetics in a giant grocery feeling store! The bulk bins are almost always well stocked and they have the ones with the pull down lever so you dont have to wonder too much who has been putting their fingers in there. Prepared foods is great too. Good selection and the staff are always able to answer any questions about preparation and ingredients. Theyre also endlessly patient. Im really friendly and I try to be polite about it but I ask a LOT of questions about what goes into my food and how its prepared and theyre always happy and helpful about it. The juice bar is second to none. Its another brand within whole foods but its great. The highlight of this whole place is the staff who are consistently and relentlessly friendly and agreeable. Im sure they get fresh occasionally but with customers like the walking, talking nightmares in Boca, I cant blame them!!! I live in NYC and these Boca ladies make NYers look like kittens so kudos to anyone who can work in a place like this and keep it running so smoothly.
