Came in town to visit my niece. Absolutely love the little town. We visited this shop today and was shocked how unfriendly and rude the attendants were. They asked my 14 yr old son if his hands were clean when he was shopping for a hat. Seriously??? Then the older woman behind the counter asked if he was lost. No! He wasnt lost. He was in there with a group of 5. What the jerks did not know is this kid currently works 2 jobs and had more than enough money to buy whatever he wanted in there. Lousy customer service causes lost business. If you are that miserable in life- maybe you should get a different job.

There is absolutely nothing unique or special about AMI outfitters. NOT a real "outfitter". Definitely a place to avoid! No wonder they had to close their 2nd shop - they are SO RUDE every time I come in! The owners are just rude and patronizing and this shop doesnt sell anything you cant buy online for WAAAAAAAY cheaper. Avoid this place unless youre a tourist with more money than brains. The only positive reviews are clearly the owners friends coming on to try to help cover up the real story. Click on the profile and you can see that they live on Anna Maria and just give 5 stars to other little gift shops.

The best store on the island! Lots of high-end outdoor clothing for fishing and boating as well as general vacation clothes. Patagonia is one of my favorite brands and they carry it here as well as nice OluKai sandals and Yeti coolers / tumblers.
