Sus helados son fantásticos como postre cuando uno come por la zona tras visitar el mercado durante el fin de semana. Resultan muy cremosos y llenos de sabor. Me encantó la combinación de chocolate con chips y pistacho. Recomendable, sin duda. El servicio además fue rápido y sus dependientas amables.

Best gelato in DC. Chocolate noir is the way to go. I usually mix that with one other sorbet flavor. I have tried most of their sorbets from raspberry, passion fruit, blackberry to rhubarb and cantaloupe, which are all light and refreshing. Their regular gelatos come in flavors like hazelnut, sesame and crema. I find them richer and much more flavorful than other ice cream and gelato places I have been to in DC. For this particular location, they have benches for outdoor seating which is always a plus.

I usually avoid Pitango Gelato because I am loyal to the best gelato in DC, Dolcezza. However, every time I do go into Pitango due to a friend wanting to go, I enjoy myself. They have a wide selection of rotating flavors and they can even make you an affigato. I recommend anything sesame or toasted almond here!

Robert and the crew at Pitango are awesome. The gellato is great, but I go for the coffee. And undiscovered gem of DC. I used to frequent Peregrine next door and Bourbon and the street, but have since converted to Pitango. Iced mocha and their black coffee are to die for.

Friendly and efficient staff, I fell in love with their Mojito and their White Grapefruit - super refreshing, tart, and was a great little dessert after dinner in the area! They also serve teas, coffees, and hot chocolates.

Any reasonable person will walk into Pitango and wonder how they can get away with charging so much for such a tiny scoop of gelato. Then theyll try the gelato and realize why.

I love their gelato - so delicious! I cannot, however, believe that a tiny cup is $6. I mean its plenty of gelato, but unnecessarily over priced.

Delicious Gelato...a little pricey, but they should be famous just for their mint lemonade!!! It is so refreshing.
