Dollar General is a great place in Elsmere, Delaware and about one mile from the Prices Corner Shopping Center in New Castle County, Delaware. They have a good mix of affordable goods for a quick store run or if a person wants to stock up on groceries, cleaning supplies, or hankers for snacks. The customer service there is mostly satisfactory and the store is clean. Management does well with helping customers too. I shop there often and I am rarely disappointed.

I was at Dollar General in Elsmere & had a return but lost my receipt and the associate, Bonnie was extremely unprofessional. I have never been so humiliated when trying to return something w/out a receipt. I am not going to recommend anyone to shop at that location.

Best small but well-stocked Dollar General is my go-to place for small grocery shopping trips. Prices are comprable with the nearby Walmart, but its a whole lot easier to use a smaller store like Dollar General. A wide variety of the basics.
