I’ve never been a runner but I recently signed up for my first ever race, a 5k. I tried to buy running shoes on my own, but I was completely overwhelmed. While visiting some friends in Rehoboth, I told them of my decision to run my first 5k and the trouble I was having in buying good running shoes; they convinced me to try a specialty running shop and recommended Run & Tri Rehoboth Beach. Julia, one of the owners, explained the process clearly and really put me at ease. She performed a video gait to determine what type of shoe would be best for me and brought out several different pairs for me to try. The shop provides a treadmill so I was able to jog in each pair to see how they felt – I thought this was fantastic! Julia really took her time with me, never making me feel as though I was just a customer, emailed me a copy of my gait analysis video with other shoe recommendations in case the pair I purchased didn’t end up working for me, and even gave me some tips as a new runner. It was great to be helped in buying my first pair of running shoes by someone who is a passionate and informative runner first, and a shopkeeper second. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a beginner like me, I definitely recommend you try out this shop.

I just started running about a year ago and Im crazy about reading blogs and running shoe guides etc. Some suggest that you can check the bottom of the old pair to know if you pronate and use the wet foot shower test to know your arch. Feeling like an expert I picked up a new pair of Brooks thinking that I under-pronate to neutral. Sure, they worked, but as I cranked up my miles, I started to feel a lot of pain in the knees and foot areas. I decided to give this store a try when I walked by and saw a bunch of colorful shoes in the window. The woman at the shop proved that I actually over-pronate with my left ankle when she videod my run. I tried on a few pair of shoes she recommended and ultimately selected a Newton. Ive been running in them for a few weeks with no pain! Thanks for the awesome recommendation!

My wife and I stopped by this store last Saturday I compete in full Ironmans, international & sprint triathlons, and run between 20-40 miles a week and was looking for a store that could accomodate my needs. Run & Tri Rehoboth accomplished just that!!! I had my gait tested and purchased two pairs of Newton running shoes. The shoes are by far the most comfortable and fast I have worn. The stores service is also excellent! I do not know a local store that will provide hands-on gait testing and even let you try the shoes you are looking to purchase. The owner recommended the Newton brand shoes, and if you are a serious runner, you need to consider this brand. I will definitely stop by the store in the future.

While spending a weekend getaway in Rehobeth beach with my gfs, I found this awesome athletic shoe store with a great variety of top-notch namebrand shoes & sportswear. I had been looking for a good pair of running shoes to jumpstart my training program. I was greeted by the owner, who was also a triathlete, and very knowledgeable of picking the shoe that contoured to my low arch. He fitted me with the most lightweight flexible shoes and gave me pointers on how to lace the shoes for added support. Most comfortable shoes Ive ever owned! Great for indoor on the treadmill & spinning classes, as well as running outdoors! I have to say these shoes got me motivated to get my groove on!!

Love Run & Tri! Great shop located on the main strip in Rehoboth. Helpful staff and nice selection of merchandise. My husband and I are not runners, but we are active and were very pleased to find that Run & Tri had a great selection of basic "active" shoes in addition to their huge variety of running shoes. We ended up purchasing his and hers Topo Sneakers -- we wear them to the gym, walking the dogs, daily life, etc and so far we LOVE THEM! The Topos are super comfortable and conform nicely to the foot, they are lighter than my usual Nikes. I also like that they are a unique style... Something fresh! Happy to have visited Run & Tri.

I visited Rehoboth Beach Sports while on a trip to the beach in Delaware. The store had a large selection for a small shop by the beach. Julia, the owner, is very knowledgeable and can answer questions and help you find the right gear for you depending on your passion. Not living in Rehoboth it was great to find out that they have a website - which is very easy to use- and they can ship anywhere. One thing of particular interest to me is that they list the heel to toe drop on their shoes on their website. I have a need for a higher heel to toe drop and this info is not always easy to find. I would recommend Rehoboth Beach Sports.

I was in Rehoboth for a wedding and happened upon the store while wandering back to my hotel after breakfast. What luck. While I have been a runner for years, I didnt know anything about natural running shoes and their benefits. Patrick (one of the owners) explained to me how traditional running shoes / natural running shoes differ and, after performing a gait analysis and asking a few targeted questions, recommended a couple of shoes. I ended up buying a pair and absolutely love them! Thank you Run & Tri Rehoboth Beach!
