My husband and I stopped by on Sunday to pick up his jacket, which hadnt been altered to our satisfaction at the first time. The sales assistant handed over the jacket in plastic and turned away. Nobody was interested whether we were happy with it or not. Meanwhile, I was looking for a shirt, another assistant rushed through the store, which was empty, asking "is your day going great so far?" I asked a completely non-motivated blond lady for the 4th of July sales, when it would start. I had gotten a coupon in the mail. She said "ha?" made a face as if I had asked the most stupid question ever. Obviously she spoke only broken English. And I wouldnt mind that. We are from Europe, speaking with an accent, too. But there is no excuse for being so unfriendly. The other assistant also didnt understand anything of what I asked and gave us the feeling of being very dump customers. I will never go there again. In fact, we had bought his suits, pants and the jacket in Clinton Mall, which provided an excellent service.

This is a great store, my family and I have been coming here for years. The staff, and especially Eric Westerdale, have always been outstanding. Eric is always happy to order whatever is not in stock in the store, and over the years Ive found Brooks Brothers quality to be an excellent value. Very nice casual, yet high-end atmosphere, Ive always found that people are friendly and let you browse at your leisure.

The shop has a very limited selection of what is found in the catalog and bigger stores. There are virtually no "slim fit" shirts. The sales staff is stodgy and arrogant. Unless you find yourself strolling by on a sunny afternoon, its worth the extra distance to travel to a bigger shop.
