Now i personally never worked here, but my friends that have worked here told me horror stories. Im sure certain people are under the lens of HR and being reviewed but whats the point, nothing gets done in this store anyways. If you are a floater in this store be prepared to take over everyones shift day to day because everyone calls in sick as soon as a floater is hired. Also if you work here and are a woman stay away from security and LPs because they dont know their boundaries. Also i want to point out that i went with my mother to return something to this store and my god the cashier just refused saying you cannot return the item because it was bought online, even though lord and Taylor has a policy where you can return the item in store even if its bought online. So after yelling for 10 minutes a manager comes and fixes the return like how it was supposed to be. So basically nothing is easy in this store, and just this store really. My mom and i only went to this forsaken store because it was on the way to a friends house, if you want to return something just go to the Lord and Taylor on old country road, trust me it will be worth the travel.

Shopper beware. Worst customer service experience. Avoid at all costs. Wanted to exchange two shirts. They were out of the size. No big deal. They looked it up and quickly found the shirts in another store. However they refused to exchange the shirts and either mail them to me or have me pick them up in the store. Instead I need to pay for the two shirts have them shipped to me and I would get a gift card for returning the two shirts I brought in. I was then told it would be illegal for them to use the gift card to send me shirts and that I couldnt use the gift card online. When I pointed out that it was illegal and many business offer that solution the sales rep looked at me with a blank stare. When I then also pointed out on the back of the gift card it says I can use it online she says you learn something new everyday. She kept stressing to me that I didnt understand. Oh I understood. It just made no sense and made it even more difficult for me as the customer. Manager was of no use. She said social media wouldnt help either. Will never return.

I tried calling Lord and Taylor at the Bayshore Mall for two days to find out if they have an item in stock. The phone just rings constantly. I then tried Lord and Taylor at Walt Whitman. Not only could the woman barely speak english, she wasnt very unhelpful, and was unbelievably rude. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she hung up on me. Lord and Taylors general customer service is just as bad. I called to see if the operator could transfer me directly to the Bayshore store and was disconnected after a five minute hold. I found the item at Macys.

My experience was a positive one when I was taken care of by the right salesperson. The first salesperson I experienced did not help me (Rosa) and sent me off in the wrong direction to the wrong department. Lucky for me a different salesperson read my receipt and sent me to the correct department. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of the helpful already but she had red hair.

Fair pricing on merchandising. Picked up two suits at a good price. The store is definitely understaffed. The women in the mens department was certainly friendly. However, needed to wait a while for service because there were many people before me. I had the same experience when picking up my tailored merchandise. The tailoring was perfect.

Donna at the cosmetics counter is the most amazing, helpful, and knowledgeable sales associate I have ever met. She worked so hard trying to get things just right for me. They couldnt possibly pay her enough for what she has to offer.
