I went into the store to get a document notarized. Time: around 2-3 pm. There was a young woman in the store alone unpacking/packing boxes. I was neatly dressed in shirt/tie/slacks. I greeted her and said I was there to see the notary. Without a smile or backward glance she said, "Ok". I had the form to be notarized but no pen. There was a container with pens on the carrel with the UPS forms so I selected a pen. There was no blotter, so I blotted the pen on the form which was on the top of the stack. She came swiftly from 30-40 ft away and picked up the form, crumpled it and threw it into the trash. Not a word from me to her or vice versa. Midway through filling out the form I asked if the notary was in office. She said, "I am waiting for you to come to the desk to deal with you.."(paraphrase) in a curt, sarcastic voice. So, I got to the desk, explained that I was looking to notarize a document so I could apply for a state medical license. Eyes wide, she became overly solicitous. I said, I did not have a pen and had no paper to blot your pen on so I apologize for marking on the form ( presumably, the free UPS form available in spades at UPS stores). Not a word from her about that. She carried on as if I had said nothing. I left. Fact: Im black, shes white. Im sure she would say it was not important, but judge here reader. Maybe it was an off day? If there was a half-star I would have awarded it to this store. Customer service and diversity training needed.

Shipped a rather large, heavy item back to Amazon and did not have the original box or packing. Amanda assisted me with fast, courteous service and a price that was reasonably fair. She made what appeared to be a big job, no sweat at all.... I was in and out in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend this UPS Store as a five star place to handle all your shipping needs and the many related services they offer.

They have a store policy to charge a customer two dollars per box if it requires any taping. I will bring my business elsewhere. It is not good practice to nickel and dime a customer.
