I went here to buy my first electric cigarette. The man came right out of the back as soon as I walked in the door. He asked if I was the person whom called on the phone. I said yes. He took down three different models of e-cigarettes. They were unfortunately in blank boxes and the guy didnt know much about them. I will say that he was very nice, and he did attempt to help to the best of his knowledge. I ended up reading the pamphlet that came with one and recognized that it said it was the "510" which gets good reviews online, so I figured I would pick it up. It was $55.00 I believe which is about $20 more than I could have ordered it for online, but I understand the company wants to make money. He did respond to my mothers small talk. He attempted to explain that no cigarette is a safe cigarette. It seemed like he didnt really know how the electric cigarette functioned, and that it was vapor rather than smoke. But thats all fine, he did mention that he just got them in, so I didnt expect him to know everything about them. Especially with English being his second language, Id expect it to be a bit hard to learn. He did allow me to try a puff of one of the models, which turned out to be a "Health-e-Cigarette" and I did think it was nice of him to allow me to test it out right in the store. However I do hope that he wiped it off after I used it. He seemed to have put it off to the side so that he could wash it off after he was finished with me, but Im not sure if he ever did. I give the shop an average rating, due to the fact that they have a sanitary, nice looking shop, with a lounge. The clerk was friendly, he did call me out, saying: "I will sell it to your mother because I dont think your 18" when in fact I am 19, but I know that he meant no harm in it. All in all, a good selection of moderate to probably high quality cigars, of which I only briefly viewed, and keep in mind, i do not know much about, but the display room has a good amount of display. "water pipes" for you more eccentric smokers, and most anything youd want. Apparently an HD television and a wifi hotspot as well. So my closing remarks include that the place isnt too shabby. I found it comical, when my mom asked "Do you smoke yourself" he replied "Oh no, no, no" I believe he was the son of the owner, Im not sure. I may meet more of his workers/family because I DO plan to return. Very convenient for meriden/wallingford area. Good guys. ;)

Cigars may not be his forte, but the service and willingness to help make up for the occasional humidor snafu. Reminder: CT has INCREDIBLE mold issues. Im an audio professional and Ive lost several pieces of high end sound equipment due to the moisture and mildew that invades some places in the spring. I too bought e-cigs there. Yes, he didnt know a whole hell of a lot about the e-cigs. No one does. Ive shopped for them all over the tri-state area; very few stores have his selection, and his prices are competitive w those found online w e-cig retailers. He has special ordered refill carts for me, as well as giving me great deals on cigars and accessories. I shop there exclusively now as he is one of the few shops that carries my e-cig brand (V2 Cigs, easily the best brand Ive tried). The first night I went, I got really lost and arrived 5 mins after close. He opened the door, turned on his register, and rung me up very patiently. Highly recommended!

I bought a lighter with a lifetime warranty from these guys last year and was told that if anything went wrong with it I could bring it back to them and they would give me a new lighter. This is the ONLY reason I bought from them. Now that the lighter is not working anymore, I went back to get a new lighter. They refuse to give me a new lighter and are telling me I was told the wrong thing. They also do not store their cigars very well. I have seen moldy cigars in their humidor. Not PLUME but MOLD.

I have been going to wallingford tobacco for ten years now , not one other ship beats this place or the deals you can get , the selection is more vast then anyone else also, the entirely enormous walk in glass humidor beats anyone elses, he will beat any proven price that is lower, one of the biggest followings around , dont sell yourself short by going anywhere else !!!!!!!!!! Vapor selection and juice selection and quality far beyond anyone ,, THUG JUICE VAPOR IS ENTIRELY ADDICTING WITH NO NICOTINE !!

Ive been buying here for four years. The loose tobacco is always fresh. If the tobacco gets low and is mostly crumbles on the bottom of the bucket, I will ask for a new bag to be put in and he will do it. Proces are great.

Great store! I roll my own cigs and this store has the best prices I have found in all of CT! They are very friendly. They just moved into a huge space and yes, they will wait for you if they are about to close.

Always a great experience with this shop. Recently switched over to electric cigarettes and this shop carries a great selection of juices and vapes for good prices. Its a 30 minute drive for me but worth it.

Great place, great staff. Clean, spacious atmosphere and good vibes all around. The owner is a gentleman. Some tobacco stores, you dont look forward to entering. Not the case with Wallingford Tobacco.
