I work at this location the store is owned by a man who owns 3 other shoprite stores.the pay is very low wage. on top of union dues and a 27 hour rule where his part time employs cant work more then that amount every person i know hate the company.the store is a mess the customer service is awfully because everyone wants to not be there. they bring pallet jacks on the sales floor,i mean who does that not only is it a safety issue but a show of how lazy they are.Also after starting there i learned that it was the owner that wanted the union? And he chooses what union we have????? its like working for an old mafia don.enless you have a record consider finding a job else where

The customer service from more than just one cashier here has been terrible. A few times Ive been made to feel that Im bothering them just by checking out in their lane! They get very chit chatty with their fellow employees, and ignore me as a customer, and end up incorrectly ringing in my order because theyre distracted. The produce is not much better, half the time it seems as if Im buying something that is already starting to go bad, or its just so bad that I cant even purchase it. A little more class in this location would be nice.

ShopRite Stratford : Parking is one of the reasons i gave this a 3 your sandwiched between Home Depot and Walmart. Now Home Depot doesnt get the very busy so that side of the parking is good but once you have to move closer to Walmart that is where the headaches start. People will walk right in front of your car with out even stopping. Knowing your looking for a parking spot. Otherwise inside the store it very easy to get around and very clean.

Wow, has this place gone downhill. Half of the sale items are never available, help is hard to find if you need something and more often then not the scanning guns are broken at the registers. Since they opened up the new Milford location it seems like this store has taken a hit as far as quality goes. Ive been shopping at this location since it first opened and I have never seen it in such disarray .

I HATE coming to the ShopRite in Stratford! It is the ONLY super market chain that does NOT allow coupons at the self scan registers. WHY?!?!?! And there is NEVER adequate help scheduled so youre ALWAYS waiting in line for 10-20 minutes or longer. The ShopRite in Shelton is MUCH nicer and always well staffed with more competent and pleasant help!

The staff are always super kind and helpful! Miss Vida is such a kind, hardworking lady, that always has the customers best interest in mind! The store is clean, produce is fresh, Deli is awesome, meat department, bakery, dairy, frozen etc are great and always carry what Im looking for!

It is a very clean store for the most part. Everything seems to be in order. Parking is relatively easy providing you dont park too close to Walmart. It appears as if there is a lot of fried chicken or food because the store is pretty much overwhelmed with that smell

Many (not all) of the employees are dismissive or disrespectful to customers. One manager in particular seems to be there for social hour and not for the customers. I would rather drive to Shelton ShopRite where they are polite and helpful.

Love this Shop Rite store. It is very rare when I cannot find what I came in for. Usually well stocked. Very courteous & helpful associates. Better deals/prices than the valley area Shop Rites. Keep up the good work!

Good place to shop. Could be a little cleaner,. Boars Head meets is awesome, cheese selection is great and they always have the best prices on lobster and seafood.
