I like the rest of the store but had a bad experience with the grooming salon. I switched from Petco to try Petsmart and will never go back here. When I showed up for my first appointment at the proper time the girl told that me that Id called to cancel it. When I told her I hadnt cancelled it...which is why I was there...she told me that it was cancelled and the spot filled already. No apology no "Im sorry we made a mistake". Would not fit me in or in any way adjust for the mistake they made. Obviously whoever took the call got the wrong dog Max. I spoke to the manager who actually had me wait while he tried to call the person that took the cancellation phone call. Why did that matter when it was their mistake?? No idea. He said there was nothing he could do....really? If thats how they treat new customers I shudder to think of how they treat the dogs. Really abysmal customer service.

I was a regular customer of the grooming salon for years. But when I brought my dog for his grooming appointment recently they wanted to charge me a surcharge, something they never done before. When I tried to explain the employees were both very rude to me and was not willing to compromise. I also saw how the lady groomer handled a small little white dog. The poor dog was yelping in pain and was shaking from fear on the grooming table. The groomer acted like nothing happened to the poor dog and was yanking the dogs little paw. I was very disturbed by the manner and attitude of these employees, both to me and the little dog. I decided to leave and never come back.

They are not friendly or helpful. I couldnt find my pets vaccination records, which I realize is on me, but I found it TEN minutes later and they wouldnt honor my appointment. There was no other dog in there and they didnt close for 3 hours. They told me very rudely "take a picture on your phone so youll have it for later". Gee, thanks.

We have a very wiggly, super furry,now 5 month old labradoodle and they have patiently given him a couple puppy cuts. He looked fantastic after each one and have always thought he was happy, not freaked out when picked up. Im perfectly happy so far and will return as often as he is happy and looks great after his appointments.

My sister brought my pitbull terrier in for a bath and nail clipping. My sister picked up my dog and i checked out her nails, they some how forgot to clip the nails on one of her paws....So now i have to go back and hopefully have them do it right there on the spot

Pretty much every time I bring my dog here for grooming, he seems to have a good time. Ive had bad experiences with this chain in the past for grooming, but never a problem here. The grooming staff is fun and friendly. Dont change!

Super helpful staff. I have cats with a special diet and they were able to help me, a new transplant from CA, to find it and ensure I get the right stuff for them. Still a hassle, but it isnt their fault

Friendly staff. Something is usually on sale and at a cheaper price than Wal-Mart. There appears to be a habit of pushing snow into the handicap spots to the right of the entrance.

Mass produced, low-quality products, 95% of the stuff in the store is made in China. Support someone local, this is just another big box store.
