This a great place to grab a coffee and a bite. Coffee is all high qaulity, has a wonderful smell and tastes just right. It feels like a coffee machine is well taken care of and cleaned regulary, so no ash aftertaste. Pastry is fresh, I would even rate local croissants 3.5/5 by an absolute grade and 4.9/5 for US market. Atrisan sandwiches looks good and taste the same. And I especially recommend this place for a rainy day, feels very cost here. Only two negative aspects for me are the size and prohibition against sitting here with a loptop.

I go here at least once a month, more when I can. They have the best Bacon, egg, and cheese Ive ever had. And Ive had a lot of bacon, egg, and cheeses. The rest of the sandwiches are also phenomenal, I recommend the Daves Pesto. The coffee and atmosphere are also great. Amazing little coffee shop, best in New Haven.

Its your friendly neighborhood coffee place. East rock wouldnt be the same without it. Good coffee and some small tasty sandwiches and pastries. Very little seating indoors though so dont expect to sit. Also heads up no electronics allowed while seated inside (no tablets or laptops).

The absolute coolest coffee shop that has EVER been in New Haven. The staff is friendly and very organized especially in a very tight space. The breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and cappuccino are delightful.

East Rock Coffee is a small place that can easily flip from cozy too crowded with the arrival of a hungry group of college students. Keep an eye out for an open table.

It is a cozy, little, laidback coffehouse. Especially cool to hang out with other neighbours usually stopping by there. Shame that they close a little early at 6 pm.

What a relaxing place to go and read the paper! They have a no laptop policy, but pieces of the NYT are scattered around for you to enjoy. Try their iced tea!

This is a tiny place with not much seating and a ban on computers--I love it! The coffee is really excellent, very smooth and rich, highly recommend it.

Excellent bagel sandwiches and coffee!! And very nice staff, not the usual surly service you expect from hipster coffeeshops. Very child friendly too.
