Best in class in every respect, and heres why: First and foremost, the owner (Al Lucchino) is a through and through Harley Davidson aficionado with a deep and wide knowledge of all things HD. He is extremely well versed in all the facets of all the models, ranging from new to vintage. Ive known him since they first opened ~25 years ago, and they have been servicing my now 27 year old Softail all along. (More about that later...) For someone considering a new bike (new for them, not necessarily "new") as I recently was, he is always tremendously helpful towards the model selection. Clearly his top priority for those purchasing a bike is to ensure that you get the right bike for you! He will talk with you for hours (I know this from first hand experience) in order to understand just what model will keep a smile on your face for as long as you own it. He has a deep understanding of the motors, is himself a performance enthusiast, and can unquestionably help guide others interested in boosting power towards practical solutions to achieve such. My 1990 80ci EVO is WAY more powerful than stock, and running strong and reliable with 80K+ miles on it! His depth of knowledge doesnt end there, and he is always very gracious with regard to spending time with anyone to discuss and offer advice towards other areas such as accessories, detailing, pretty much anything one can think of. This year was my first bike purchase in 27 years (2017 Breakout CVO) , and now after 3 months and 5000 miles I can honestly say that I couldnt possibly be more pleased! My 1990 Softail Custom is very happy to have a new friend in the garage too...;o) What with being 27 years old, and having 80K+ miles on it, my Softail needed some attention in order to get it back in shape. Carburetor was leaking gas, oil leaking from the primary, rusted hardware, old tires, ripped seat, you get the picture. I wanted to bring it back to looking and running great, but Im a rider, not a mechanic, so for me this was a daunting task. Fortunately for me, Al, and his excellent service manager Dan spent many hours working with me to find the right solution to get the bike back in shape while not breaking the bank, so to speak. With respect to the task of restoring a bike, though its clearly important to do things right, (which we did), its even more important to do the right things! Again, Al, Dan, and Chris in parts spent many hours with me to figure out what to do. And then they spent more of their time researching and finding the right parts for the job. Now my 1990 Softail Custom is looking and running better than ever! Again I can honestly say that I couldnt possibly be more pleased! And as far as Im concerned it was a very good value in that though I know for a fact that many folks there spent many hours of their time speaking with me and doing the ofttimes arduous leg work of research for the best solutions, finding and ordering parts, etc., I was only charged for the actual wrench time that the technician himself (Chris, also a master at his craft) spent physically working on the bike. So again, I could not possibly be more pleased with both the new bike purchase and the old bike restoration! The great folks at Harley Davidson of Danbury are a tremendous asset to the area motorcycle community, and of course the parent company as well. I would highly advise anyone who is thinking of purchasing or repairing/restoring a motorcycle to stop by, and most importantly to engage the highly knowledgeable and gracious owner (Al) and service manager (Dan). I have no doubt that they will listen, understand your needs, and help you find the correct solution for you! Happy riding..;o)

I came to Danbury from Long Island after viewing their massive inventory online. I was looking for a Sportster Nightster and they have 4 in stock which was more than twice as many as any dealer in my area. I drove up 2.5 hours on a Sunday because they were open until 6PM. Upon entering I realized that this was the nicest Harley dealer I had been in since looking for my bike. I was instantly greeted and began looking around. After maybe 5 minutes of browsing I was approached by a gentleman named Jim who had helped me through the entire intro, selection, and purchasing of my very first Harley. Jim has been there for 10 plus years, he did not make me feel uncomfortable or rushed in any way. He had an absolutely spectacular attitude and did not push any of the bikes on me at all. I asked Jim if he could have one of the delarship owners, Al, come down to speak with me. Al came down and was extremely heart warming and probably the nicest person I have dealt with at any dealership. Al spent some time with us going over his past bikes, a ride that benefits the military, and we spoke about how perfectly clean each bike in the showroom was compared to other bikes i have viewed at dealers. If you are looking for a Harley or Buell, I guarantee that you walk away with one from this dealer, the bikes were beyond clean and you could tell that they really put time into each one after it comes in on trade. I would also say that about 90% of the bikes comes form the original owner, and Jim can tell you about the past history. Over all I would recommend this dealer 100%. There is not a doubt in my mind that they are the best in the region, and I will be returning back there in the future. Hopefully for the Softtail Blackline : )

I bought my 2014 Ultra limited from Danbury HD in April from Jim over the phone sight unseen. I knew what I wanted & knew that I was given the best price possible. There were 5 in stock various color schemes & he said he chose the one that was in the best condition since they all had approx. 5,000 to 6,000 miles on the odometer. I sent $1,000 fully refundable for him to hold the bike. ......I arrived a few days later & was not disappointed Vivid Black w/ pinstriping...all the extras and then some....Sue in administration, made it possible for me to ride home to Speonk, Long Island a few short hours later. Al one of the owners, introduced himself & has personally welcomed me each time I ride 130 miles for service. Always offers me coffee or something to drink while I wait. Dan & his staff in service are amazing. There has never been a time that they havent performed the work that was requested but they are so much in my trust that I gave them permission to replace anything necessary without first checking with me. They schedule a mechanic to work on each bike for that day without them being pulled off for emergency work on other bikes. Jean & Lynn in apparel are so pleasant and helpful when I am visiting. Too many employees to name but they are my family away from home. I am dismayed to see some of the negative reviews.......Knowing my experience with this Dealership I have to question the motive of those reviews.I have no less than six dealerships that are on my way to Danbury but they have my loyalty & respect. Sincerely, Frank H. Smith III
