Beautiful selection, great fabrics, wonderful people (most) that work there! Whats the problem then? I come from RI a 45 minute trip. Come once a month because of the wonderful selection, Happen to come on a day that people wore PJs. Didnt know. Asked if I could count my long velour shirt as pj tops, the woman smiled and said "no". She said" are you signed up on the newsletter", I said didnt realize I needed to. I live too far, I just come when want to purchase quality fabric. She said"well, you couldnt have bought anything if we were closed". I thought to myself Im not getting a courtesy 20% off either!. In my opinion, not good customer relations! Im on a fixed income and even 2.50 would have made my New Year start off nicely. As it was I left feeling like I wanted to cry, I was so upset! Well whoever reads this, make sure you wear your jammies or whatever they require you to do to get that discount. As for me I am not going back, I doubt if any one will notice, but at least I was able to vent. The woman who waited on me wasnt wearing anything that looked like pjs either, so why are customers required to do something rediculous to get a discount!

Great selection of quilt fabrics (my reason for shopping there.) But I must say the staff is almost rude. Ive shopped there twice this summer and both times there were three or four staff members at the cutting table/ register area and they carried on, quite loudly, their own personal conversations. They did not cease their conversation while cutting my fabrics; consequently the person cutting did not focus on what I was telling her and I had to repeat several times (for each piece!) how much I wanted. Fortunately I did not have any questions of substance because I doubt I would have been able to get anyones attention. I have been better treated at the chain stores.

They have a great selection of fabrics but they are the RUDEST staff. Good luck trying to get any help, or even getting a hello. Ill never go back there and I suggest you steer clear.

This is a great little spot! I find the staff to be extremely helpful. I tend to call the seamstress last minute and she goes out of the way to help me out.
