I found this store while I was searching for some unique fabrics for several projects I wanted to do. I was sick of going to a Joanns type of store because everything is the same! This store is amazing! You walk in and find a huge warehouse filled with every type of fabric you could ever imagine. Seriously, if you cant find it at Osgoods, you just cant find it... One of my favorite sections is the bargain bins with odd amounts of fabric bundled up for a great price! You can find upholstery fabrics, silks, sheers, spandex, everything in these bargain bins. There are several distinct sections in the store and they are well mapped out or you can ask anyone and they will point you in the right direction. Go sometime when you have a few hours to just browse, take your time and explore, there is so much to see. Another awesome aspect of the store is the showroom. You can see furniture that has been upholstered in the latest fabrics from the store. Beautiful pieces and so fun to see what they have done. I have told all of my friends about this store and everyone loves it!

My company was looking to purchase a large quantity of fabric from this store for a huge project we were working on. Once I got there I was told that someone would help me in the back to find basic black cloth. I went to the back and there was an employee there who asked me if I needed help. I proceeded to explain what I was looking for politely. The employee told me that I "better start looking" for what I need because the store was closing. I asked if she could tell me a more specific area to look and she said "well, the whole store has fabric in it so start looking somewhere"... I searched until the store was closing at which time I asked the employee what her name was. She told me her name and then said "go ahead and turn me in, I dont give a *** if you do, go turn me in, I dont give a **** its 5 oclock on a Friday." I walked out and I am never going back. If you want to be disrespected and feel like a nuissance, then I would recommend you shop here, otherwise, STAY AWAY!!!

I go to Osgoods when there is no other place to go. They have a huge assortment of fabric but I dont like the attitude of the owner. I had a custom drapery business for years. I sold my own fabric but when a customer could not find a fabric I or they looked at Osgoods. When they knew I had a business, I got attention, when they didnt I did not. I dont like the discrimination. One day Id get one price and another day the same thing was a different price. I like to know what Im going to pay when Im looking for a product. I always got to the parking lot and yelled in my head, "I hate this place!" Even if I had a monopoly in the area I would never treat customers like they have. I seldom go these days and when I do, I know what to expect. I find what I want and get out. Not a warm cozy place if thats what youre looking for unless you play their game. I wont!

I bought a woven shade from them. The shade shrunk over a span of 18 months. I went back to the store and spoke to the man in charge of shades. He felt it fair to give the company that produced this shade a second chance. Not what I wanted but he talked me into doing just that... Well approximately 18 months later the second shade did exactly the same thing. I again went back to the store with pictures of the shrinking shade. I heard nothing from this man until I called a week later. He offered me to come in and choose another material from the same company and if is was equal or less $$ he would exchange it. I told him I did not want the same company. Basically, to bad that was the offer. THANKS BUT NO THANKS. Poor customer service.!! I would not recommend Osgoods for purchasing shades of any kind.

Best store in a 100 mile radius. Osgoods lacks charming customer service (theyre gruff and dont have time for you to be waffling about your choices), but makes up for it in selection and pricing. You can usually find what youre looking for here at a good price and they have worked with us in the past to get volume yardage. They were even able to find white velveteen, in cotton, a tough item to track in any locale.

Best fabric store for specialty and home decor fabrics. Staff knows their stock really well, but you need to know specifically what youre looking for to get the best amount of help from them. (Dont ask them where their blue fabrics are, ask if they have a blue oilcloth/cotton gauze/chiffon/etc.) Offers interior design help as well. Super reasonable prices.

This is the best place to get fabric!! If they dont have it they will do their best to help you find it. I have been going here as my main source of fabric for 26 years now, and send all my customers here. It can be overwhelming the first time you go there, but dont be afraid to ask for help finding what you need. Their prices are also the best around.

Beautiful. An amazing selection of upholstery and other unusual fabric, with some cotton quilting fabrics. The selection is truly overwhelming, so either give yourself a lot of time or go in knowing what you want. I read about the horrible staff, but people were very kind to me and my parents as we visited.

Wow! Today was my first visit to Osgoods and I am really impressed. A young lady helped me who was both knowledgeable of the inventory and products and also eager to help. I found a sequin fabric that I have been looking everywhere for. I also received a discount on it for buying more than 10 yards!

Just left Osgoods with our fantastic upholstery fabric! Great price and the salespeople were VERY accommodating and friendly! Enjoyed looking through bolts and bolts of fabric and getting to do the "touch" test!! Thanks to the helpful staff for pointing us in the right direction

Personally, I love to visit this store!!!! I usually plan by taking a day off and clearing my calendar because I take my time to look. They gave a wide variety not only for clothes but to re-upholster chairs and cushions, make curtains or sheets. Love, love this place.
