Worst Stop and Shop in Fairfield County. At 5:30pm on a Wednesday, there was 1 employee register open. 3 self checkouts open, and over 20 customers in line. To add insult to injury, no baskets. Lets keep on going... The girl who helps with the idiots who dont know how to use self checkout couldnt have moved slower, while she slurped on her what appeared to be a strawberry smoothie. This place has always been trashy, but it is very apparent that management doesnt care at all. I will go out of my way to avoid this store from now on.

The smell when you walk in the front door, smells of rotten meat and vegetables. The staff will not smile, and workers constantly watch how customers are paying for their items. Alfredo walks around with a girlish attitude, and their is a mexican young female at the courtesy booth...she never wears a name tag...she will never smile, and will short change customers when they play lottery. Its a very low end area where people are robbed in the parking lot, and gunshots ring out across the street at the PT Barnum Apartments.

Okay at best, good sales and friendly cashiers/staff. However, meats and bread items - check the expiration dates and fresh fruits and veggies, not so fresh...they spoil faster because I think theyre freezing them before putting them out..so buy and eat quick!

My main grocery store. Even though I live closer to the one in the dock. I leave work stop here. Always in and out. And they always have what Im going for. And the 1/2 off bakery rack. Always cures my and my sons sweet tooth. Affordable! Bonus.

Around the time people get food stamps place is flooded with cops. Find yourself asking, Cop Shop or Stop and Shop. Ok to Stop and pee. Restrooms
