I came to Target Optical because I liked the style of their frames. However they will never receive my business again because they quoted a price for an exam, contacts fitting, and a new pair of glasses and I ended up paying an additional 100.00. When I confronted them about this, I was treated very poorly by the same woman who sold me on the glasses in the first place. The doctor had zero social skills and wouldnt give me a prescription for the brand of contacts Ive been wearing for five years but instead, one that costs 25.00 more per box. See a pattern here? I cant believe Im going to say this but, if youre looking for cheap optical options, go to Wal-Mart Optical. Been to a couple of those, and my experience was always pleasant.

Everyone is friendly here, but they need a little more organization. There is only 1 employee at a time in the vision center. As a result, you end up waiting 15-20 minutes just to pick glasses up, even when they know thats all you are there to do. I was told that my glasses would come in 7-10 days. 13 days later they came in and they were almost twice the strength that they were supposed to be. So after almost 20 days, they came in correctly. There was a loose wire holding the lense in, but I was able to fix it myself. They also gave me my new glasses with dirty lenses..both times. Not extremely dirty, but come on people.

The doctor gave me a test I didnt ask for and he barely looked at the results - just said everything looks fine. Of course I was charged for it. Also, on the frames, they automatically added 2 elements that wasnt necessary so the charge would be 4 times higher than I expected. They might be nice, but theyre not honest. They got me this go round, but I will not go back and will not recommend them to any one. Lastly, they never informed me when the frames came in - I had to call them.

I was a little apprehensive having an eye exam at a department store. I had the best exam Ive had in 5 years. Dr Waldman was thorough - there were at least two eye tests I hadnt done before. The doctor recommended the most comfortable contact Ive ever worn. The office staff was flexible around my schedule. They were courteous and knowledgeable, and didnt pressure me to buy contacts or glasses when I had my exam.

I have been going to this Target for 5 years for my optical needs & in the past they have been great. This time however they have lost all record of me, so I have had to fill out all new paper work. I have to wonder where all of my personal information has gone. In addition to that, I have now been waiting almost 4 weeks for my contacts. Not amused.

Absolutely fantastic service. Everyone was so friendly, the doctor explained everything very well, and they advised me toward an awesome pair of glasses I love. The staff are not pushy at all. Rather, they really listen and help you pick out the right options for you.

Ive been coming here because of my insureance for about 4 years now. Its easy to get in and out of and they very helpful. Dr. Waldman is great too. Only complaint is that they try to upsell you on lots of things but that comes with the territory, I suppose.

I started seeing Dr. Waldman in 2012 after a place in Park Meadows put me in a completely wrong prescription and refused to fix it. Hes fast and efficient and above all else accurate.
