Im a long time local (20 years) and have had Goldens for 19 - Ive been coming to the Pet Spot for years. Even when I lived in East Vail I would make the drive as I feel like "family" when Im there. All I have to do is walk in and my dog food is ready and waiting for me! Richard delivers it to my car - even though Im quite capable. If they dont have what Im looking for they order it. HUGE selection of toys, collars and leashes - good for them - bad for me, I keep buying my dogs new collars! As far as their prices, Ive found them to be close to or the same as what I find online. Tracy is, as far as Im concerned, the best groomer in the valley. Plus, when I use the doggie tubs Tracy helps, and even some times, clips toenails for me. Everyone I know goes to the Pet Spot.... Im also a concierge and send all of my pet clients and KIDS to Pet Spot; Ive never had any complaints. Im really not sure if Vail Freyer is reviewing the correct establishment; not sure where this person is going but it certainly couldnt be the Pet Spot! I give them 10 Stars....

I took my very seet bull dog in here to get his nails cut. Got that done and everything was fine. Came around the corner where my dog went to say hi to a huskey. The huskey snapped at him, and being the sweet dog he is thought she was playing so he started barking. An older woman stormed around the corner and shoved her hand in my dogs face and told me to get out! I believe this idiot is the owner and has no concept of how dogs interact! Spent over a grand in here and this is what I get. Just an overpriced **** Stain of a place. This store gives local stores a horrible name. She also incorrectly identified my dog as a pit bull when he is an English bulldog! Do not let your animals near this place!

This is the best pet shop in the valley! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and the owners will go out of their way to help you out. Multiple times they have helped me out, with food, toys, doggie boots and even a cut nail that wouldnt stop bleeding. If you have any questions, they will guide you through to find the best product for your pet. Actually the more I think about it, they are the best pet shop Ive ever experienced anywhere. Kudos to you guys, you deserve all the best! As long as you are around, you will be my one stop Pet Spot!

ent in to get a pet bed for my lab and quickly realized I didnt want to be here! The people working upfront were yelling and cursing about a stapler and talking about the other employee that wasnt at work because he/she was probably still at the bar! Wow and it was only 11 am on A THURSDAY!! Not a great way to bring in repeat business. I looked for a email and couldnt find one, so here is my complaint. Would love to come back and shop when the employees arent talking about leaving early and the stores only been open an hour.

This place is awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are ready to answer any questions you have about any of your pets. This is also a one stop shop: they have food, toys, pet care products and you can even get your dog groomed or use the self bathing tubs and do it yourself. The prices are right and the service is just as good.

The owner is rude and the prices are ridiculous. Kids are not welcome and by the owners attitude, no one is. Most business owners are welcoming and encourage you to return; however, this owner must believe she is the only one in town with pet supplies. Their prices seem to change according to the owners mood.

Super helpful with all my questions about finding the right puppy food for my puppy. They wanted to make sure we got the right one for our pup, so they gave us some samples to test out with her and see what she likes and what will help her the most with growing up to be a healthy dog. Highly recommended.
