This place is absolutely horrible. David took a $200 deposit on the color and shading for my sleeve. He only shaded in one thing on my sleeve then it took forever to get back in to see him because he said he was the only one left in the shop. Once we finally got to the date of my appointment I called after I got off from work to make sure that David was gong to be running on time and found out that he no longer works there. Talked to a guy named Bob that day that says that he manages the shop and that David no longer works there. I told him that I had paid $200 for the shading of my sleeve. Bob told me that there was nothing he could do about that unless I wanted to pay one of his new guys to finish it. He also gave me Davids cell phone number. I texted David and he said that it was out of his hands and the shops responsibility to finish it. I called Bob back and he was full of EXCUSES telling me his portion of the 50% he charges is for the bills and its the artist fault not his. I have my receipts, two of them for $220 each, but the mistake I made and will acknowledge is that I did not have David write on the receipts what I was paying for. I have paid $440 for tattoos and my arm looks like some kid has playing around on my arm drawing with markers. Id be happy to show anyone a pic of what was done for that amount. My point of making these reviews is to EXPOSE bad business practices, I may never be able to recover a dime of my money but if I can keep people from making the same mistake of going there then my job is done!

The Owner Of Tattoo America Stated To Me: "You play the victim good." Quality Customer Service? NOT!! Would this be an acceptable response to you, if you were not satisfied for any reason with the tattoo you received here and you shared your experience on a public review like the one your now reading? This statement by Tattoo America was in response to an unfavorable review I left on Facebook legitimizing and documenting my claim with photographs, that I had infact received a sloppy and rushed tattoo on my ears! My tattoo was very simple and consisted of 14 1/4 inch lines. In my opinion, any competent tattoo artist could have rendered my request to my satisfaction. However, my tattoo "artist" Kevin did Not tattoo straight, evenly measured or proportioned lines and I am Not satisfied with the PERMANENT modification that Kevin has made to my body. Both the shop and the owner blamed ME for the poorly done work. After researching the review history of Tattoo America on various sites as well have having dealt with them myself, they appear to become retalitory, hostel, attempt discreditation, insult and verbally attack anyone who publicly shares a negitive experience with them. I will personally regret entrusting my flesh to Tattoo America, FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!! Pictures Dont Lie, These should speak for themselves.... The numbers revealed in this google review of Tattoo America indicate you will Either be completely satisfied when you leave freshly tattooed 5

This place is SHADY!!!! I dont even think they deserve a full star. I paid $20 for art work that I never got. The first draft I got in the shop SUCKED. Aaron said he would text me later with a design that was actually worth something. A week went by with nothing, so I went back in the shop and asked for my $20 back. He said I bought art work. I said , "But I never received art work or even a response." He refused to give it back to me, so Jason called a week later asking me if I was ready to get a tattoo. I told him I was uncomfortable using the place because of my experience. He said to send him some pictures and he would make me a deal. I told him I would be in touch of I decided I wanted to use them. I left it at that and decided I didnt want to use them so I went back to the shop to get my $20 back. He had the nerve to tell me I couldnt have it because I last THEM hanging. Nevermind the fact that I had never heard anything from Aaron. I ultimately told them it was worth the $20 to find out they were shady and full of bs.

There is a post from Alexis Shull. She paid David $200 and received an outline on a sleeve. When she came in to get shading and color the artist was no longer employed here and we tried to set her up with another artist. At that point she had asked for a refund on the work already done or to have the remaining work done for free. A sleeve tattoo can take 10 to 20 hours of work and she received about 2 hours of work for her start to her sleeve. Shop labor is $100 per hour. She has been doing negative posts since that time. She received the work that she paid for. We tried to be as nice as we could to her and she was still rude and demanded money to remove her negative ad. She then went to Heebee Jeebes tattoo and they told her the same thing that she recieved the work she paid for and she then said they were also rude to her. The last we talked she said if we give her $102 cash she would stop doing negative posts. We told her we would not be blackmailed for money.

I love love love this shop. I will NOT go anywhere else. They are clean, their art work is beautiful and their piercings are very very well done. I am so glad I found this shop. My friends have gotten multiple tattoos there and I have gotten three done there. Also a few friends of mine have gotten piercings there. We are all extremely happy with the work we got done. The staff is so friendly and professional and invested in your satisfaction. They make sure you understand how to care for your piercings and your tattoos and truly want to know if anything goes wrong. All of their artists do amazing work and will put in the time to get the art just the way you want it. If you are looking for a shop in the Springs this is the one!!!! =]

Went in last night to get my bottom naval, not only is the jewelry not bent correctly but he did not sterilize it. Ive been told many times I didnt have enough skin for it but he claimed I did and went through with it. He pierced the skin inside my belly button, not just the surface. The needle hurt way more due to the fact that it was not pierced correctly and the needle got stuck. Went into pens and needles today to have it looked at she told be it will be rejected and I should take it out before I get left with a nasty scar. She also said he isnt a piercier, just an artist that does it for extra money. Do not come here for your piercings. Didnt have It one whole day and I could tell it wasnt right.

Kevin Onely is honestly the best artist that I have gotten a tattoo from! We did 2 long sessions and I am amazed with my tattoo! He was very clean and sterile which is so important to me. Not only did he give my what I asked for, when I asked for artistic input, he came up with an amazing design that I never could have thought up. Ive had this most recent tattoo for 5 months and I still am amazed by it. His portfolio really sold me on him as an artist, but after talking to him and experiencing the care, the effort, the thought, and the love that goes into his art, I am so so happy with my experience! I look forward to getting my next tattoo with him.
