Never ever again will I set foot in this store. I called ahead looking for a particular item because I was referred to this store. I had never been in before. They said they had it. When I got there I was a bit lost at how they handled business. No one greeted me when I walked in. The cashier was too busy chatting it up with someone so I stared at their spice wall for 15 minutes. When the customer left the cashier finally acknowledged me. I mentioned I had called looking for a spice and she did in fact remember talking to me but never left the cash wrap to help me find it. She asked what I was using it for and when I told her she immediately jumped in asking if I used goats milk. When I said no she proceeded to tell me my product was probably subpar and insisted on trying to sell me some from her own goats. Who I can only assume was the manager came out and started chatting. She did point me to the spice I wanted so I told her how much I wanted of it and she gave me this look of disgust. She followed it up with "Oh no. You self serve here" and pointed to the wall with some bags. That was the only direction I got. I muddled around trying to make sure I was handling everything properly and they stared at me as if I was some type of lepur. She could have at least explained how the business worked and walked me through the process. Nope, both of them were too high and mighty to get their hands dirty actually helping a customer. Ive never been so disgusted with a small business in this town until now. Will not ever go back.

I have been going to Sage Woman Herbs for a very long time. They have great products such as Herbs, Vitamins, Supplements, Teas, Essentail Oils, Informative Books, classes and workshops and a wonderful friendly intelligent staff. Valerie Blankenships knowledge of alternative medicine is of the highest caliber. Some years ago I lost someone dear to me and became depressed, not long after I developed a few ailments. I had a couple private consultations with certified herbalist Valerie Blankenship. She diagnosed me correctly and prescribed the correct Herbs and Supplements, and together with correct daily practice of Tai Chi and Qigong I was able to overcome and be healed of these ailments. Valerie is an important part of our community who is sincere and truly a professional of Alternative Medicine. I highly recommend this Herbal Pharmacy and Clinic to anyone with health problems but prefers the natural holistic way of healing. Not to mention the selection of wonderful teas, bulk herbs, vitamins, organic soaps, supplements and essential oils. I very much enjoyed a herb walk she hosted in Woodland Park, CO where we walked through the mountains and were taught how to identify medicinal herbs and how to safely use them. I consulted Valerie last year, as part of my consultation I shared with my herbalist private recent hardships that I thought could be affecting my well being; she is knowledgeable, but unfortunately she disclosed my confidentiality to her to someone else. I was contacted by this person and I was in shock to realize how much Valerie had said to this person, who did not know a lot about me. Very frustrated I contacted the Guild Association that promotes CONFIDENTIALITY as one of the Ethical Principles, but Valerie is only a member of Guild, not a professional member, so they could not do anything. She violated my confidentiality to her, even thought she promotes PRIVACY POLICY in her web page. Also, she shared with me and not asking to keep confidential something about Yolandas boyfriend, Yolanda is her manager; and something about Jennifers marriage, Jennifer is her store assistant. Frustrating and humiliating experience.

Not helpful to new customers. Unless you want to become a "patient." Items on website are not instore and they will not order for you. Customer service is reluctant to even take my phone number to return information on when the requested product would be in store. Given a line about how "crops fail sometimes... sometimes dont get some products for year or more. " True or not, dont waste your time. I doubt they will restock or order the requested product or call back. I called Annas Apothecary in Manitou Springs and they accomidated my requests in a manner according to their business model. Not exactly my request, but they were willing to try. Honest.

Take your time when you when go here, to actually see what all is available. Its a smaller shop but has alot once you really start looking around. I love loose leaf tea; and their selection is great, all their tea blends are organic. Also if you like jojoba oil, almond oil, and other carrier oils for a moisturizer, the prices are great here.I bring the same glass container to use a refill. I think the carriers are organic as well, which I love to support regardless of price. So go ahead and enjoy this beautiful tea, herb/ oil shop right here in Colorado Springs!!

I have tried to quit smoking for many years with no luck but i started taking sage womans smoke ease and im well on my way this time with no cravings and no weight gain. its very simple to take i make my own capsules and take one in the moring and one at night and it is really helping me to quit smoking. the service is great the ladies at sage woman are the ones who helped me to find this wonderful product.
