What a massive undertaking. Just a few years ago, this street mall was a wasteland of half-open Annies Pretzels and toy stores that no one ever seemed to go in. (You know, the kind with the robot ferret toys chasing a ball). Now enter The Streets: new construction, a few wonderful local businesses and of course the requisite big box shops to justify the enormous buildings. With local favorites like Snooze (a brunch joint) and Chuck And Dons (an upscale, quality-driven dog food and supplies store), you can eat a great meal, do some shopping and even bring Fido a new toy. There are apartments in the area, but after viewing a few of the units its worth noting the walls are thin and though it has a great parking lot built into the structure, there never seems to be enough guest parking. But thats another review!

I always prefer open air shopping centers versus interior malls and Southglenn is a solid option for anyone in the area. I think they have more of an eclectic mix than some open air venues with a Whole Foods, movie theater, Best Buy, and a couple salons. Comparable to Belmar but with more mall-type clothing stores (like my favorite, H&M). The food options have expanded over the last year, I noticed a crêpe stand and a BBQ joint on my recent visit. Parking on the exterior is fine but gets a bit more windy once you get inside. It seems crosswalks are father between so you tend to have to stop a lot more for wary pedestrians. Not a place to try to rush in and out, but what shopping center is?

A wide range of shopping and restaurants, along with a few big box stores, a library, and a modern approximation of a town square have really revitalized what was once the Southglenn Mall of the 1970s. There is too much surface parking surrounding for it to really be an integrated community focal point, though. Would be better if it were tied in with the areas off street trail network and more connected with transit. As it is, its still a very car centric destination.

Great outdoor shopping mall with a good variety of places to eat, little shops, and big-box stores. The whole area is very walkable with lots of parking -- the parking around the inner courtyard is pretty limited, but there is parking on the side streets, large parking lots surrounding the complex, and a large parking garage at the southwest corner by the Theater. Not to mention, there are TONS of Pokestops lined up in a perfect circuit for you to walk around. :-)

There are some cute little shops some corporate stores like H&M and Macys and a couple of restaurants. But for a nightlife thing its not a place I would find myself. Im in my 30s and unfortunately there isnt a spot at southglen I would really hang out at for too long. Id like to see this place have more going on in the future. Its a nice place in a great location for people living on this side of town. Lots of potential but it isnt quite there yet.

For anyone who hasnt been there in a while, owners bulldozed the original mall - except for the anchor stores like macys - and have turned it into an outdoor shopping mall. [A slightly updated Belmar] The project is nearly completed, and has attracted stores such as a large Best Buy, Verizon, and some restaurants. The movie theatre is nearly completed and more stores continue to move in. It looks much better than before!

Love the fountains here and the green space in the center. Great safe place to walk your kids. Good place to bring family and guests. Just watch for the pranksters who like to drop things from the parking garage upper levels, especially when walking on the sidewalk between garage and theater! I tend to park elsewhere now unless the weather is bad. Otherwise great place overall with lots of shopping and restaurants.

Very walkable and pretty, unlike so many other sprawling strip malls with so many of the same shops. Southglenns layout feels much more like walking around a shopping mall. I only wish there was even more family owned shops and restaurants within the area; the ones they do have are great. Photo 95 in particular is fantastic, try their chicken and steak Vietnamese sandwiches with a iced glass of Thai Tea!

It is a weird retail area, Id say it is somehow lesser despite the quality of its individual parts. Parking is almost always awful and it bottlenecks quickly (especially if you are going straight up the middle to the theaters). A greta Vietnamese place is here (Pho 95) and some other good restaurants. Something for almost anyone and decent stores too. CO

I love the streets at SouthGlenn. Everything there is really nice. The movie theater is amazing also. I love not having to rush into a theater and get crappy seats or come 30 minutes early just to get a decent seat. Reserving the seeds online makes it so easy and then you can get there whenever you want. Well worth the extra couple dollars. WA

Nicely designed outdoor mall with great ambience and setup. Music. Ice Skating in the winter. Good selection of businesses. Only thing missing is a good coffee shop in the main area. My ideal place would be a Cafe with good bakery/dessert selections. There is a cafe, but its off to the side. Cafes and people watching go hand in hand. EL

Very nice shopping center! Loads of different shops and boutiques to do one stop shopping. Plus many restaurants to choose from, so you can very easily do a little shopping, go have a bite to eat and continue shopping or go see a movie! All shops are within walking distance, and parking is FREE! A great place to spend the day! CH

Another outdoor mall located in centennial, co. Smaller than your average mall but still with a great variety of placed to eat and shop. There is a library, a whole foods, theater, luxury apartments, and a 24 hour fitness that take up most of the area. Still great to check out when looking for an outdoor shopping activity. MI

Ive eaten at Tarbells a number of times & enjoyed every meal. We had dinner there two weeks ago, the food & service were as good as ever. I was surprised & saddened to just read that Tarbells has now closed - I confirmed it on their website. Thanks for your effort, Mark Tarbell, I enjoyed your great place & will miss it a lot. HI

Love that there is a Paper Source here! The parking lot is a little squirrelly, but the independent shops here are fun, with several of them local! Parking is free here, not like other "mall" places around the metro. Also, it is a nice setup of buildings. Worth it to check out the old Southglen mall area. LA
