When Walgreens became a part of the town of Avon, I was excited about the new pharmacy department because walmart is very unreliable, but what I found is how terrible walgreens pharmacy actually is, I gave them many chances and every time I had a question or an issue they wanted no part of helping me and gave me no idea how to fix anything. When I received a call from them telling me my prescription was ready and then I go up to the counter to wait for 20 mins for the women to tell me that my insurance doesnt cover the generic brand but it might the real brand but the computers not working but might I add that we dont have an of the real brand. After me sitting there for almost 45 mins and ask for the generic brand as I had asked for when turning my prescription in to the same women she tells me that it isnt ready at all and if I wanted it I would have to come back and get it in a couple of hours. She couldnt answer any of my question and then after calling me to tell me my medications ready and having me sit in front of her for 45 mins she finally says to me that it isnt at all. I have never been so furious with anyone in my like I took my prescription over to city market and received my medication 10 minutes later. I would suggest against using Walgreens, its a complete waste of time.

Put the wrong label on my medicine, I called to ask why I got the wrong pills and instead of telling me to check the pills they told me to come back to the store... so I scramble to get to the last round of busses for the day to get there and they arent ready... no one at the counter... wait 10 minutes and finally they tell me that the pills are right, just the wrong label. Now I get to walk a mile and a half home in the snow because waiting on these folks caused me to miss the last bus of the day. Annoying.

Went late in the evening to find an over the counter inhaler for asthma and the staff was not very aware of OTC items available. The store was clean and organized but disappointed in the lack of assistance I received.

Good place to grab some stuff quickly. They have a section with local souvenirs that are inexpensive. Somewhat limited selection for a large store but everything was clean and organized.

Discriminatory pharmacy personnel. I showed up my foreign passport and she got somewhat scared because of it, that she refused to sell what i wanted to buy. Bad bad bad!

A very nice, clean Walgreens that is fully stocked with all the things you expect to see here but also a nice range of novelty items from the area.
