Dear Disney, I am sorry I took so long but I could not let this go. First, I am a grandmother and may spoil my grandkids. At Christmas my 5 year old granddaughter wanted a Disney Princess Castle Playset. I went to the Aurora Town Center store and was first told they were out. Then they checked with the backroom and they said they had one on hold. I asked how long is the hold time and they said 24 hours. I said I would check back how long did I have to wait? (I wanted to spend my money in Aurora so that the tax base is supported) Then the young man in the back came out with the play castle and the young lady said the hold must be over. She sold me this play castle at full price fully knowing that it was broken. You could tell when we opened it that they had been into the bottom because the cardboard was ripped, batteries replaced, ties were undone etc. The button did not work and the castle would light up briefly when the on/off switch was moved. Who knows what else the castle might have done? While I want to congratulate these young clerks for putting one over on the old grandma they have certainly soiled the Disney name and have lost this old grandmas business. Shame on you! My daughter has been saving her money for months, doing chores and cleaning up the yard for spring to earn money for a new princess dress. Today we went to the Disney store to try them on. We got there just before opening and they invited Lina to help open the store. She was floored. Even though our Disney trip isnt until Dec we were lucky enough to get a bit of pixie dust here in the Mile High City. We are lucky girls, she and I. Thanks to everyone at the Aurora Disney Store for making our morning magical.
