All the reviews were spot on. The yeast donuts are like melt in your mouth and cake is a great balance of soft yet crisp on outside. Its true if you say youre a first timer the owner (only worker) will give you sample donut holes (only one variety). If youre looking for the basics done right this is the place for you. Prices are really reasonable. We got a half a dozen and 2 coffee drinks for $11. We had the following: - red velvet cake glaze (x2) - blueberry cake glaze - old fashion cake glaze - chocolate long donut filled with peanut butter - chocolate circle filled with vanilla All yums. Peanut butter is not a whipped peanut butter but a legit creamy jiffy kind of PB. Its pretty rich. They also had maple dipped variety and sprinkles and cinnamon cake. They also had pine cones, apple fritters and bear claws. The filling choices we had was custard, vanilla cream, peanut butter, lemon and raspberry (i think that was it). Its a great hole in the wall treasure. If youre looking for fancy and commercialized, you wont find that here. If there was one of these in Ohio, I would come back!

First of all, the donuts are incredible! So yummy! Very light and fluffy and deliciously sweet! But equally important, the service is top notch! Peter, the owner, is extremely kind and helpful. He took our large order for our entire office the afternoon before, and went in late that night to make sure everything was ready for my early morning pick up. He was helpful, easy to work with, and humble. This is how every business should be run! If I could go back every day, I would! Absolutely recommend this place! Go!!!

I grew up in a small town and they had a awesome little mom and pop donut shop, always fresh. Just like that small shop back home, they dont have all of the glitz and glamour that some Big name donut shops have, but the last time I checked no fancy signs, no flashy advertising gimmicks or 50 kinds of coffee make the donuts taste any better. I like the simplicity of this shop and like the donuts, they are a wonderful, tasty treat any time of the day. Give them a try!

OMG Flies!! Stopped in on a beautiful sunny day. Outside door was propped open, thats cool…fresh air. BUT inside I find the donuts are displayed in open air cases. That isnt cool. Especially when there are flies buzzing around and on the donuts. DISGUSTING. I walked out. If the front of the place is that dirty the back is probably even dirtier. Get closed cases if you want your front door open.

Awesome donuts!! I have lived out in denver for 8 years and have always looked for a place similar to Shipleys, a Houston local favorite and this place is ridiculously close tasting. Because of the elevation this is the only donut shop that does a righteous fluffy and airy donut. Everything is awesome and the owner is super nice, hes been making donuts for years.

I eat here on a weekly basis. As a Doughnut lover these are the best i have ever had. They are not too sweet and the texture is very light and fluffy. Ive never seen the place dirty.
