Very disappointed.. As a brand new client, I have no need to go back to REI. I am in the market for new ski boots. I called ahead to ask if they had any size 30 in stock.. The sales rep over the phone.. and I quote "Size 30? Of course we do.. stocked up on all brands". Drove an hour to visit the store and guess what? Specialist in the ski boot department advised me that they almost never have size 30 in stock. And of course.. They had none in stock.. I doubled check the number I called and yes, it was the Woodland Hills store that I went to. (First store as well I went too where the sales representative did not ask to double check my measurements.) In the end.. If you want to purchase a mountain bike, cute clothing or a nice back pack? This store is great. If you ware looking for serious advise or real selection on various seasonal product? Find a local retailer that specializes in that sport.. I have always heard a lot about REI.. but for my first time in the store? I really never need to stop in again.. I get it.

The store is great, awesome products and good selection. I was just a bit disappointed when I went in for a hammock (6.5.2016) There was a sign posted that they were on sale, so i picked one out and walked around to browse. When a salesperson asked if I needed any help, I mentioned that I was there for a hammock and asked if there were any other colors on sale. She seemed confused and said there had been a sale the last weekend, but not anymore. I went to point out the sign, and it wasnt there anymore, someone had taken it down in those last 5 minutes. So I didnt get the price I thought theyd be when I checked out. I wasnt going to argue, I still had wanted the product, but I just know that generally there is a policy that stores give customers the price if its their mistake in advertising.

Its a great looking store with a great selection of quality outdoor gear. They could use a few more sales people on the floor, though. One guy was trying to help about 5 customers at the same time.

Always love this store. So many cool gadgets. To my surprise, Ive found items that were cheaper here than on amazon. This new store is really nice and the staff is super helpful.

Very good selection, excellent service, they have good variety of everything. Parking is a little annoying but you can find it if youre willing to walk a little bit.

This is a great REI. Lots of products, great layout. The only issue is that the products are a little pricy.
