I had been visiting this location since it was near where I live, looking for a phone upgrade. I finally decided on a phone, the LG Stylo 2 plus. I brought in my new SD card as well. The phone is $149 on special, but she was going to charge me over $200. She asked if that was alright. I said no of course, what are all the extra charges? She said at first that is was $30 in tax and the $15 new phone fee. Of course I said no way $30 in tax, she explained I had to pay tax on the regular price which was $219. I quickly realized that even that wasnt right. I found the tax rate on my phone and showed it to her. Then she said she could bring it down to $183 and change. It was still too high and she wanted to charge me tax on the $15 new phone charge which is wrong also. I demonstrated the tax should be $17.52 and she wanted to charge me over $19. She and another young lady working there refused to make the adjustment. No manager or owner was on site or could not be reached by phone. She pleaded that it was only $2 overpriced. I told her its still a rip off and wrong, since they could give me no good answers for their pricing. I canceled the purchase and walked out. I called over the the Metro PCS store at 1st and Lyon in Santa Ana and asked what would the price be. She calculated it and I quickly realized that their price was correct and the tax was confirmed as well. I went over there to buy my new phone and got very good service, moving my contacts, photos and music onto my new phone. Too bad for the store on Newport, they lost my business due to shady business practices. Looks like they like to get a little extra "commission" in their deals.

Ok I recently had an experience with metro pcs at this location Ana and Sandra were a very big help, they went above and beyond the call of duty to help me with a problem I was having with metro pcs as a company. I was very in happy with my service upon my arrival and was going to switch my service to Sprint. Ana and Sandra changed my mind I told them the issue and they reacted quickly and promptly to resolve the issue and they Did! If there was a possibility for 10 stars I would give it!
