This full-service grocery store chain is special. They carry all the regular household items you would find at a regular grocery store, plus a huge variety of imported fine foods from around the world. If there is a hard to find ingredient for a recipe you are making, you are likely to find it at JONS. Each department has all the imported food products integrated within each aisle. For example, imported jellies, jams, and preserves will be found by their domestic counterparts like Welch’s. You won’t have to search around in the “international” aisle like most other grocery stores. They have a full-service deli where you can buy sliced meats, cheese, salads, sides, and more. You can even order a sandwich made just how you like it with meats that you might not be able find anywhere else. The Torrance location also has a full-service bakery with freshly made layered cakes, strawberry shortcake, brownies, tiramisu, and even Eastern European desserts. A mainstay for the area is the BBQ counter. It has been part of this building since the last two stores that occupied the space. It has a huge following in the area so JONS decided, not only to keep it up and running, but even added more options for locals to try. They also have Santa Maria-style BBQ available on the weekends (weather permitting), grilled up fresh in the morning. The aroma of BBQ alone will lead you here!

The manager at this JONS MARKET is great. I ask him if he could see if he could get a certain item and he said yes he would look into it. But to my surprise he got on the phone and did it right then and there. And now they carry the item i wanted. All of the people who work there are all seem to give a dam. You dont see that now a days. Its like i went back in time to the late 60s or early 70s where you knew your grocer and checkout people by name. There produce is top notch. fresh and no knats flying around it. very good prices on produce. They have organic for the people who want it. OHHHHH dont let me forget the Smokin BBQ Meats. ITS SO FEKIN GOOD. you need to try it. you wont be disapointed. The only thing wrong with jons is there is not one closer to my house. If you like beer they have a great selection of beer from around the world. I am not one to post things that are good. But i am one who will post about things that are excellent. I have not tried the meat dept deli yet to see how they are. I need to make some beef jerky. need to see if he will cut the meat thin for me.

Im sorry but i had to add to this. At first glance everything seems great snd the prices are a bit on the low side but aside from the deli and bbq you soon find out its not that great. First off the customer service on the bakery and bbq is always aweful. People are lauging behind the counter and stare at you when you are needing help. Half the time they need to go find someone to help you. The isle ways are very narrow and for some reason they will put items in the isle making it extremly annoying to try and pass people. The options on groceries are severly lacking, very limited brands. They dont have common groceries that most other places will have. And last but not least, unless its completely empty expect to wait in line

Such a great market! They have tons of Eastern European and Middle Eastern goods, but still have the regular American essentials in stock. Their produce is cheaper than most and includes fresh herbs, plus its all very fresh and not about to expire. Their deli section is out of control. So many options and price points. Their meat selection is a bit limited, but weve never had a problem with freshness.

This Valley chain has come to the South Bay with a bang, bringing great prices on fresh produce while offering both a good selection and a clean environment. Their bulk foods prices are cheaper than other comparable stores in the area. Jons is bringing ethnic grocery prices while maintaining mainstream market ambiance.

Great for meats. Large veriaty. Also, great BBQ cooked and ready to go tri tip, ribs, and chickens, a made to go sandwiches. A little on the expensive side for regular groceries. But the butcher makes this place a must go to for steaks, sausages, and other fresh or ready to go meats. Mmmmmmm

This little neighborhood market has a little of everything and plenty of international food items such as Russian, middle eastern, Mediterranean, etc. Good selection of produce too. Conveniently located in a strip mall type setting so you can pick up your rx from CVS and a latte from Starbucks.

I mean, its a grocery store with a deli and bbq. The bbq smells great and the prices overall are reasonable. Its well stocked and clean and the aisles are wider then other similar stores. And it feels like a local establishnent, not a chain. The employees have all been friendly and polite.

This branch of Jons is a huge improvement over the previous markets that have occupied this space. For a variety of reasons the beach cities lack diversity in the ethnic food space, and the eastern European specialties here are much appreciated.

My Ukrainian family has been going to Jons in Hollywood since I can remember for sausages, breads, and other Eastern European foodstuffs and so to have one open here in Redondo is a Godsend. Great bbq and smoked meats, plus Ukrainian beer!

The prices on the produce are great. The best part of Jons, though, is the rotisserie chicken and other meats that are grilled and/or smoked in store where you can watch. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Nice new supermarket, conveniently located between Redondo and Torrance. On Saturdays they feature whole grilled chicken and beef tri-tip. Cooked onsite in the parking lot and it smells and tastes amazing.

Love this store! The variety of meats and products from around the world is really cool. We also like the sale prices on the meats every week. The barbeque, bakery and nuts keep us coming back!

Love this place, has a nice middle-eastern food selection (mainly Armenian) they are not the cheapest in the area but generally speaking they are clean, and always have what we need.
