Nice, quaint, family owned store. Im sure they would do great with any routine items. If you have an important timepiece thats not a daily watch then you may want to pass. I looked at the great reviews and figured I would take in my Omega 2264 (if you are an Omega watch lover you know the 2254 and 2264 are discontinued, very hard to find, collector pieces). It is in almost new condition (only normal Omega clasp wear), and I brought it to them in the original box. Since the back has never been opened before, I specifically asked the owner if there was any chance of the back being scarred up when they removed it (if you are also a high end watch lover, you know those horror stories too). He looked at me like I was sort of crazy and explained to me they used the proper case back wrench. Based on his almost offended looking response I didnt push the issue, figuring he had it handled. Well.... you guessed it - when I picked it up the case back had those dreaded "mall watch repair" deep gouges (one going from the center to the outside). I showed the owner the gouges and explained my original concern of avoiding that happening (it was very clear from looking at it that they used a generic 3 point opener, not the proper 5 point Omega tool, and if I had any idea they didnt have the right tools I never would have left this watch there). He explained that tool slippage is a normal risk of opening a Seamaster (if you own a Seamaster you just cringed because you know... with the correct tools its not), and he took it in the back to polish the gouges. Although he was able to blend it a little, the polish job almost makes it look worse because now the wheel buffed parts are obvious and arent even close to the normal finish (almost looks like I took my own dremel to it). Bottom line, if you have an expensive dive watch you love (Rolex, Omega, etc...) stick with the normal places (Nesbits, etc...). If not then you will probably be fine here (and you probably have never heard of Nesbits Watch Service in Seattle, Washington anyway). I would go back with some of my other watches (my Bulovas, etc...), but I will not take any of my other Omegas there again.

I brought my wifes engagement ring to andre. so I asked Andre if he could take the diamond out of my wifes wedding ring and cut the engagement ring in half and place it in the middle. the end result was amazing now Im pleased to say that my wife has something that nobody else in the world Has and is truly unique. also I have to say they treated me wonderfully I have been to quite a few jewelry stores and they are my favorite.

I always go to Andre when I need something special for a gift, and am never disappointed. His jewelry is beautiful and unique. The prices are reasonable and Andre is always so helpful, you feel confident you are in good hands. You can find pieces in all price ranges....the only problem is it is difficult to choose! I travel up from West LA, and it is well worth the trip! I would not go anywhere else!
