I hate to ever write a bad review, but seriously.... unbelievable!! If I can spare one sweet animal the pain then this is worth it. I took my Boxer here on a whim, they have been here in business forever, and thought I would take a chance.... first of all, the woman who runs the place has a ton of little dogs (her own) caged up in there ALL DAY! Also, she is WAYYYYYY over priced!! I counted at least 6, yappy, loud barking dogs... it was one of those moments when something just didnt feel right and you should turn and run... wish I had listened to my gut. My poor Boxer was absolutely shaking terribly w/ fear when I picked him up, ears down, tail (nub) between his legs :( He stunk!! His fur was not nicely cleaned and brushed. Clearly not cleaned well, she absolutely BUTCHERED his toe nails...cut down to the quik and several were bleeding or had dried blood on them. I kid you not, they were so jagged they actually tore my seat cushion! It looked like she took a chainsaw to them.. I dont know what she did to him, but after reading these other reviews, and knowing my experience... please spare your pup the emotional trauma... DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE.

"Great grooming, delivers puppies when promised, often available with short notice & good prices". This is all you are asking for in a Dog Groomer but Deb at My Pal delivers more than that. We have two Shih Tzu - Poodle puppies and have taken them to groomers in San Ramon, San Francisco and now Sonoma. Our puppies are 3 years old and have been to 9 different groomers. Of the 9 groomers we have tried, My Pal is top rated with Oksana Elegant Grooming in San Ramon BUT she is easier to book AND charges less money. We were a little apprehensive with the negative reviews but after 4 visits we cannot complain about a thing. Our Puppies love going there and come back looking better than the 7 other places we have tried. THANK YOU Deb.

I brought my dogs here to get groomed and they were clean and treated well. The lady told me to come at a certain time to pick them up. I was headed home a little early and decided to see if they happen to be ready but would come back if they were not. (20 minutes early) When I walked in she didnt even let me say anything before she snapped at me that I was early and gave me the dirtiest look. I had no intention on complaining, I just happen to be going by the shop. I also had no problem with coming back too. My fiance and I were very surprised at her bad attitude like we were rushing her. I will not be going back because if she is that rude to me who knows what my dog had to deal with left in her care!

I called them at the last minute to see if they were comfortable working with such a big dog. They were great- even letting him hang out in the "open" area and socialize with the other dogs. He came back clean and happy. Couldnt recommend them more highly.
