I have done business with Leonora Moss since March, 2008, every year, starting with my wedding. They have been absolutely wonderful, creative, polite and kind, so the negative reports appear to be from sour-grapes competitors. I discovered Leonora Moss because I e-mailed out an all-points bulletin before I got married (doubling as the wedding planner), seeking a florist other than the usual high-end florists in Pasadena which all had odd or negative reviews. Two of my childhood friends who still lived in the area recommended this bright, creative florist in Sierra Madre. We did business by phone since I lived in Connecticut. I also used to live in Manhattan where one can get spoiled with florists among the best in the country. Leonora Moss did our flowers for the wedding– head dress for me, bouquets for me and my maid of honor, several boutonnieres for all the relevant gentlemen (groom, best man, brothers, fathers, best friends), several corsages for the relevant women (mothers, sisters, daughters and more best friends); swags for the chairs along the aisle, table flowers, front-door floral wreath (which BTW lasted for more than a week, just pushed into that very wet green Styrofoam); and flowers for inside the house. The Leonora Moss team (mother-daughter with an aggregate of 35+ years in the business) not only proved to be fabulous and right up there with the best New York City florists, but most incredibly came up with an unusual bouquet for my maid of honor that matched her dress without having even seen the fabric– just based on our description! They showed up the morning of the wedding (you can imagine the pre-planning and logistics!) and, as they say in the corporate world, “made it happen” with the most incredible, breathtakingly beautiful array of flowers for the wedding. They made the day! The owners Judith and her daughter Lorie are always delightful with very creative suggestions, and they are always great at picking out the freshest and very best flowers and plants from their wholesalers (which I can imagine they visit in the wee dawn hours each business morning). I have bought flowers and plants from them throughout the year (each year) mostly for my mother-in-law at whose house we had the wedding, so we send her flowers for Mothers Day, for her birthday, and when we are there (always at Christmas) I visit the Leonora Moss store and pre-order paper whites, amaryllis plants, cut flowers, Christmas greenery and other gifts, and then I return the next day with my trusty 5-gallon bucket to haul away the lovely, fresh cut flowers, greenery and other items. Leonora Moss is the best, and I recommend them with ten stars– five is not enough.

BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS + GREAT SERVICE ! I dont live in California, so when I wanted to send a friend flowers for her wedding I did a search on Google maps and this is how I found Leonora Moss. The Lady on the phone was extremely helpful and super friendly despite the fact that at first I could not find my credit card and that I was also missing my friends phone number, while I looked for my card she asked me if I mind being on hold while she was helping a customer, she was very patient but she was the one thanking me for my patience ! The only downside is that I wanted a lot of the same flowers (white roses) and they did not keep that many but she gave me a couple of suggestions always asking if the price was okay with me first. The price was very reasonable, the delivery was on time, my friend was very pleased by the beautiful bouquet, The work she did definitely exceeded my expectations! Thank You so much ! by the way funny how the same person seemed to have written a bad review three times with three different names…ooops ! a jealous competitor I guess !!!

Living out in Claremont but with kids at La Salle, I was nervous to find a florist that would allow my son to give his formal dance date a corsage that could look as great as she did...well, Leonora Moss has lived up to this challenge multiple times (and dates!) over! From freshman winter ball straight through senior prom, the arrangements consistently are beautiful and unique. Even at last minutes notice, theyve stayed open late for us to dash over when everyone was running late to pick up a simple corsage so that we werent left stranded. Now, I use them for all of my local arrangements, and have the most wonderful experience each time I deal with them - in person and by telephone. I am pleased with the professionalism yet genuine effort to make each of my orders the perfect floral presentation of the sentiment behind it. Thank you to all the folks there!

Every time I work with Leonora Moss, I am very, very pleased. After nearly 20 years that is saying something! They are true artists. They know how to make each arrangement something beautiful and unique. I often photograph the arrangements I receive from them -- they are pieces of art. Moreover, they listen very carefully to what a client wants and will even call me to run ideas by me or suggest something they had not thought of when I was in the shop. Amazing, huh?! Rude, never. Friendly, always. Professional always. And this is not only with me, but with other people I know who use them and people I have seen in their store. And check out the adorable items they sell in the store. Also one-of-a-kind pieces, just like their floral work. Enough said! Check out LM!

I also live in Sierra Madre and was just going through google trying to find a florist because I WILL NEVER EVER go into this store again! I dont know what is with the attitude, but its so NOT sierra madre! This is the coolest town, with the nicest, most laid back people (best Starbucks ever!) and whats up with this store?! Im glad to add to the review list. Maybeif you are having an expensive wedding the gals go all out, but other than that, they are rude and really snotty. They belong somewhere other than our cool little hippie town......

I am a resident in Sierra Madre and up until now I have talked about this adorable store in Sierra Madre.. I walked in with my two daughters and a friend and the owner was extremely rude!!! Kind of hit me in the stomach after talking so highly of it... Well all looked at each other and walked out without a purchase!!! I will never walk in that cold over priced store again!!! Im a shopper and so are my friends!! I will make sure everyone knows how horrbile they treat people!! What is is she thinking!!!

I live in Sierra Madre and cannot believe how consistently rude the people are here. I HATE going into the store and have stopped. ONCE I bought an overpriced bouquet and it died within one day. Additionally, I find them insanely overpriced. I could almost live with the prices if ANY of the ladies in there were nice or showed even the slightest common courtesy.

My daughter got married at Villa Del Sol DOro in Sierra Madre. Leonora Moss was one of the recommended vendors. Judith did fantastic jobs with the flowers. The flower arrangements and bouquets were beautiful. The work she did exceeded my expectations!

I Love Lenora Moss! They have the best arrangements around . Beautiful and unique in all that they do . I buy my Christmas wreaths from them every year. I know the holidays have begun once I hang one on my door
