This Orchard is so much better than driving to Home Depot. Although a little more expensive than Home Depot, its worth coming here. The staff knows what they are talking about and are friendly and helpful. Throughout the years, I have purchased Benjamin Moore paint, water sprinkler parts (with the older guy showing me how to properly replace sprinkler heads), plants, pots and fertilizer, and have made keys here. OSH is dog friendly. Clean, organized, tidy and well-marked. I can always find someone here to help or point me to the right area. I can easily go in and out with my purchase in a manner of minutes. They even have people to ring you up (no self-check out here). Plenty of parking spaces in their parking lot. Dog-friendly store.

I dont normally take the time to do reviews, except when a company stands out....This store is amazing....HUGE hardware and home store...you are greeted not by a greeter but by a guide on where to go to find what you need...this store is obviously very well-managed as ALL staff will reach out to you to offer help and guidance...I just called at 7am on a holiday to find out if they are open and what hours, and a real person answered on the first ring and was delightful in telling me that they were already open and they looked forward to my visit....Holy Cow....this is a concept - excellent customer service in an a amazingly stocked and convenient store....yes - Ill pay more to go to OSH than the depressing big box home store!

I stopped by the new OSH in San Ramon today to pick up some specialty screws to repair a piece of equipment. After searching for a few minutes someone asked if I needed help, and called for a hardware clerk to assist me. Dale was the gentleman that came to assist me and knew exactly where to go for the part I needed. He didnt hesitate to open a few bags of screws so we could try them on the piece of equipment I brought with me. We found the one that fit after a few attempts and ended up chatting for several minutes after. Really nice guy, great new store and a great experience. Thanks, Dale. I appreciate your help.

Great Store! As soon as you walk in your are greeted. The customer service and atmosphere are why the prices are a little higher than Home Depot. The staff will actually walk you through how to use the product your purchasing. Go to Home Depot for the bulk or items you know how to use, go to Orchard Supply for guidance and help with projects. They make the intimidation of starting a project for your home easy.

Over priced and not friendly at all. I had a return but not my receipt, this snobby girl told me i could only get store credit. I do not have a osh withing a 100 miles of where i live so store credit would not work for me. Will never return to this store...

Its closed down. Completely empty and they need to update this listing. I drove here instead if home depot because it was closer and now Im driving to home depot regardless.

Shame that you are moving closer to Home Depot, because now we have a choice of going there or coming to Orchard. Too close to Home Depot now, but still like Orchard.
